Arnold Schwarzenegger has hinted that he’s discussing bringing back some of his iconic action characters. While at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, he mentioned talks with movie studios about new installments in the Predator series and a possible sequel to Commando.

Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that director Dan Trachtenberg is working on more stories set in the ‘Predator’ world. Trachtenberg has also discussed the possibility of bringing Schwarzenegger back for another film. Schwarzenegger shared, “He made another ‘Predator’ movie, and he’s done a fantastic job. Now he wants me to be in the next one, and we’ve talked about it.”

Besides talking about a potential new Predator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared that the studio recently contacted him about revisiting another famous role. He mentioned receiving a script for a sequel to his 1985 action film, Commando. According to Schwarzenegger, the studio is interested in bringing him back for both projects, having approached him with ideas for both ‘Predator’ and ‘Commando 2’.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is famous for his roles in action films like Predator, where he played Dutch, and Commando, as the retired soldier John Matrix, who undertakes a solo mission to save his daughter. While there are no official plans yet, Schwarzenegger has hinted that discussions are happening about potentially revisiting these iconic characters.
