DWTS’ Emma Slater & Sasha Farber Poke Fun at Their Past Marriage

Emma Slater and Sasha Farber aren’t dancing around their friendship.

The professional dancers from Dancing With the Stars are drawing attention to this situation. In a TikTok posted on March 8th, Emma is seen sitting across from Sasha, who playfully mouths the words, “Your ex-husband is so attractive.”

The scene shifts to Emma, who points out, “You’re my ex-husband.” The camera then focuses on Sasha, who nods and puts on sunglasses, seemingly confirming her statement.

Emma, who was married to Sasha from 2018 until 2024, responded to fans who are questioning their continued friendship.

The 37-year-old shared that if you struggle with the idea of exes being mature and friendly, she sends you good wishes, but it’s not something she feels responsible for fixing. She added that she’s personally healed and moved forward from the situation, and this message comes from a place of kindness.

People in the comments section supported her, playfully suggesting that her and her ex-partner’s ability to work together was essential for co-parenting on Dancing With The Stars.

One commenter, in a post Emma liked, pointed out that it’s perfectly possible for exes to be friends and both move on with their lives.

The TikTok even got the approval of fellow DWTS pro Ezra Sosa, who wrote, “CHAT I’M HERE OH MY GOD.”

Sasha and Emma’s recent TikTok isn’t shocking, considering they’ve always been open about supporting each other. Back in October, Sasha commented on Emma’s relationship with Alan Bersten, her boyfriend since April, saying it wasn’t awkward at all for him to dance with Emma and her partner, even though he used to date Alan.

She shared on TikTok Live that she’s thrilled for both her and Alan, and she hopes they have a wonderful future together.

For Sasha, moving on with a positive outlook was the best and healthiest step after their divorce.

He continued, saying that life doesn’t always go as planned. There’s no reason to hold onto hatred, so it’s best to appreciate the good times you shared with someone, acknowledge they were wonderful, and then simply wish them well as you both move forward.
