About
Sigma Star Saga DX is a refined version of the unique 2005 adventure / RPG / shoot ’em up hybrid.
Originally released for the Game Boy Advance by Namco, Sigma Star Saga is a unique science-fiction adventure game. It seamlessly switches between exploring worlds from a top-down perspective and fast-paced, side-scrolling space combat. Players take on the role of Ian Recker, a skilled Earth pilot tasked with infiltrating and defeating the invading Krill empire. This involves traveling to different planets, meeting interesting characters, and customizing Recker’s ship with a vast array of weapons to create thousands of powerful combinations.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Sigma Star Saga DX offers the same classic gameplay and content as the original, but with a host of improvements. These include a better map, fewer random battles, a more balanced leveling system, refined character hitboxes, tweaked auto-fire, expanded dialogue, extra save opportunities, bug fixes, and various quality-of-life enhancements.
