The open-world, cooperative town-building game ANIMALKIND will be available on Steam for PC in Early Access starting March 30th, according to developer Uncommon Games.
I’m so excited that ANIMALKIND is launching into Steam Early Access! Brian Guenther from Uncommon Games said they really want to build a warm and friendly world where you can hang out and play with friends, and getting it into Early Access means we can all jump in now. They’re planning to add tons of new areas, characters, and creative options, and they want to build all of that with our help – it’s going to be awesome to grow the game alongside the community!
Here is an overview of the game, via Uncommon Games:
About
In ANIMALKIND, you play as cute animal heroes who pilot giant, ancient robots through a beautiful, post-apocalyptic world. You can play alone or team up with up to three friends online to gather supplies, explore diverse environments, meet friendly characters, and build a flourishing town. ANIMALKIND combines the peaceful fun of town-building with exciting multiplayer action, all in a world where adorable animals like corgis, cats, and raccoons use their surprisingly strong thumbs to create a brighter future, one mech adventure at a time.
Key Features
- Play as an Adorable Animal – Play as an adorable corgi, tuxedo cat, or North American trash panda (common raccoon), each with unique animations and customizations.
- Pilot an Ancient Mech – Use the power of industrial-grade opposable thumbs and an upgradeable chassis to traverse the world of ANIMALKIND, gather resources, craft, and flex your design skills.
