Hudson Williams Slams “Hateful ‘Love’” From Heated Rivalry Fans

Hudson Williams is sending some fans to the penalty box.

The star of Heated Rivalry publicly addressed a section of the show’s fanbase, criticizing their inappropriate actions.

On March 9th, Hudson shared a message on Instagram stating that true fans do not make racist, homophobic, biphobic, misogynistic, ageist, ableist, or bigoted comments, and that hateful behavior isn’t support at all.

He emphasized that everyone on the team respects, supports, and cares for one another, and are united in their goals, adding a blunt request for anyone who disagrees to leave immediately.

The 25-year-old wasn’t the only one feeling this way; his colleague, François Arnaud, posted a similar message on his Instagram Stories.

Ever since gaining recognition in the Crave and HBO Max show, Hudson – who recently went public with his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day – has been taken aback by how much attention people are paying to his personal life.

He told Wonderland in January that he was surprised by both the amount of disrespect and kindness he encountered. He’d expected mostly extreme reactions – either overwhelmingly positive or negative – like people shouting things such as ‘Oh my God!’

However, Hudson noticed that most fans were being considerate of his personal space and were encouraging others to be polite when they saw him out in public.

I’ve been seeing the comments, and that’s fine,” Hudson said. “But some people are really disrespectful, just saying awful things. It’s shocking, and I’m left wondering why people are being so hateful. On top of that, there’s a lot of false information spreading about me, which is crazy – how can I already be the subject of fake news?”

François felt similarly conflicted, admitting that the show’s success and the mix of praise and criticism it brought were hard to process.

He told Elle Canada in a March 9th interview that he needs to step back and recharge. He explained he can’t keep working at his current pace, and needs time to refocus, plan for the future, and approach his next projects thoughtfully over the coming months.

Hudson, François, and their co-star Connor Storrie are currently getting ready for the second season of Heated Rivalry. According to creator Jacob Tierney, filming is scheduled to begin in August, with plans to release the new season in spring 2027.

The film follows these brave women as they work with authorities to bring him to justice, and it’s a powerful reminder to always be cautious and trust your instincts when exploring any spiritual path.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of workplace dynamics, but Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is something else!
