The story finds Reacher back on the East Coast, where he encounters a woman he believes to be a potential suicide bomber on a late-night subway ride. After the woman unexpectedly shoots herself, a confused and disturbed Reacher begins to investigate her identity. He soon discovers she wasn’t just a random civilian, but an employee of the Pentagon, leading him to uncover a larger government conspiracy and putting him right in the middle of it.

The fourth season of Reacher will feature Alan Ritchson alongside a new group of actors playing characters he encounters on his travels. The cast includes Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, Kathleen Robertson, and Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette. Rodriguez-Marquette will be taking over the role of local police officer Jacob Merrick, previously played by Jac Baruchel.
