From season 4 confirms unexpected character return in chilling new trailer

Season 4 is coming soon and the new trailer has revealed a surprising and dramatic return that fans weren’t expecting.

The first look at season 4 is here, and it shows Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens and the others encountering even more terrifying experiences in the town they can’t escape.

Sharp-eyed fans spotted Eion Bailey’s character, Jim Matthews, making a quick appearance, even though his character was killed off in a dramatic way last season.

The trailer features a heartwarming moment of Jim’s son, Ethan, running to hug him. This suggests a few possibilities: Jim might still be alive, the scene could be a memory from the past, or he may be appearing in a supernatural form this season. Considering the strange events in Fromville, anything is possible!

Just to refresh your memory, the season 3 finale featured Jim’s death, caused by the Man in Yellow. This happened after Tabitha and Jade learned the truth about their identities – that they are the reincarnated forms of Miranda and Christopher.

Safe to say, we certainly didn’t expect to see him back.

The trailer also teases an even darker side to Boyd, and the return of the dreaded Man in Yellow.

Season 3 really showed us that the show isn’t afraid to kill off beloved characters, and now everyone’s wondering who will be next.

In a recent interview with TopMob, Perrineau discussed lingering questions after the season 3 finale. He pointed out the significant losses the town experienced, Jade’s ongoing encounters with various individuals, and the mystery surrounding Tabitha’s potential past connection to the town. He emphasized that many key questions remain unanswered.

“I want to know where we are and why we’re here, and who’s connected to this place.

I’m very interested in learning who’s involved with this location, what their reasons are, and whether their involvement will be beneficial or detrimental to us. I think figuring that out will be fascinating.

Not long to wait now!

From season 4 will arrive in the US on 19 April. From seasons 1-3 are available to stream on NOW.
