Cardi Bdidn’t mean to start a little drama.
Cardi B apologized after unintentionally damaging a fan’s hair while on stage at her Little Miss Drama Tour concert in Houston on March 4th.
In videos shared online from her concert, Cardi B was seen pouring water from a plastic bottle onto her neck and then tossing the bottle into the audience, accidentally soaking a fan.
A fan shared a video with the caption, ‘Getting your hair done yesterday, only to have Cardi B playfully splash water on you? Totally worth it!’
Still, Cardi felt guilty about the gaffe.
The rapper, known as “Up,” responded, “I’m really upset with myself. What if you were planning to go out after this and I ruined everything for you?”
The fan quickly reassured Cardi that everything was alright, writing, “It’s okay girl. Amazing show.”
Cardi B’s recent tour hasn’t just been about her fans. Last month, she appeared to confirm she’s dating NFL player Stefon Diggs, who is the father of her three-month-old son, while also publicly criticizing rapper Bia for speaking negatively about him.

Cardi B recently addressed fans at a Los Angeles concert, explaining that despite her personal issues with her husband, Offset—with whom she shares children Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 17 months—she won’t tolerate others speaking negatively about him.
While rumors are swirling that Stefon Diggs and his girlfriend have broken up after ten months, Stefon’s mother, Stephanie Diggs, went to Cardi B’s concert in Houston and posted on Instagram that she was excited to have fun.
Cardi B isn’t the first performer to have something thrown at them during a show. Here are some other surprising and dramatic moments that have happened onstage.

While performing his last song, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)”, at the North Dakota State Fair in 2025, the American Idol judge was hit with something thrown from the audience. He didn’t let it bother him, though, and finished the song perfectly.
As one fan noted, “Carried on like a champ.”

During a 2023 concert in California, a Jonas Brother asked fans to stop throwing objects onto the stage after two bracelets narrowly missed hitting him.

Cardi B was visibly upset when someone in the audience threw a drink at her during a performance at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas in July 2023, and she reacted by throwing her microphone back at them. The next day, a woman filed a report with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department claiming she’d been hit. However, police stated that no arrests were made and, in August 2023, Cardi B’s lawyers were told that the singer wouldn’t be charged with any crime.

Bebe Rexha is determined to enjoy her night, even after being hit in the face with a phone thrown by someone at her concert in New York City in June 2023. She shared a photo of her injury online, reassuring fans she was okay. According to Nicolas Malvagna’s lawyer, Todd A. Spodek, Malvagna—who was arrested and charged with assault—only meant to get Rexha’s attention to take a picture with his phone as a souvenir and never intended to hurt her.

Kelsea Ballerini was startled when someone threw a bracelet onto the stage during a concert in Idaho in June 2023. She explained on Instagram that it hit her in the eyes, but thankfully, it scared her more than it hurt.

Ava Max is speaking out about an incident that happened during a concert in Los Angeles in June 2023. She explained on Twitter that a fan slapped her so hard it scratched her eye. She stated that the individual will no longer be allowed to attend her shows, and clarified that while she may be known for songs like “Sweet but Psycho,” she isn’t someone who can be easily taken advantage of.

Let me tell you, as someone who’s seen a lot at concerts, the fans at Pink’s British Summer Time Festival in London in 2023 were something else! Someone actually threw a wheel of Brie at her while she was performing – she thought it was hilarious and even said she wanted to kiss them! But then, the next day, someone threw a bag of ashes. Can you imagine?! She jokingly asked if it was someone’s mom, and honestly, she was just as confused as the rest of us. Talk about a memorable concert experience – and a bit of a head-scratcher!

It seems like anything goes at concerts these days! Harry Styles had to dodge various items thrown on stage during his Love on Tour, including, surprisingly, Skittles at a Los Angeles show in 2022. The candy brand even tweeted a plea afterwards, asking fans not to throw their Skittles.

During a February 2022 concert, Billie Eilish was thrown a pair of fake breasts by a fan while she was singing “Lost Cause.” Showing she doesn’t get flustered easily, the Grammy-winning singer threw them back into the audience and continued her performance.

Kid Cudi warned the audience at his 2022 Rolling Loud performance that he would leave if anyone threw anything else on stage. When an object was thrown at him shortly after, he followed through and walked off stage.

Fans were shocked when someone threw a lemon at Ariana Grande while she was performing at Coachella in 2019. Although she was clearly bothered, Ariana quickly joked about it, telling the audience, “Someone just threw a lemon at me!”
