An actor from Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Western series, The Madison, is hinting at storylines for season two, before the first season has even aired.
You can start watching The Madison on Paramount+ beginning March 14th, with the first three episodes available immediately. The final three episodes will be released on March 21st. Filming for the show took place in late 2024, and they began working on the second season a year later.
Alaina Pollack, who plays Macy, recently shared with Liam Crowley of ScreenRant and The Madison how unusual it was to film multiple seasons of the show before it even aired.
The actress hinted that the next season of the show is even more impressive than the first, and she can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store.
Pollack is relatively new to the entertainment world, with only a few credits like the horror movie The Surrender and a single episode of the Prime Video series On Call. She’s still getting familiar with how film and television productions operate.
Honestly, I was thrilled when they started filming the second season of The Madison so quickly – I didn’t even realize it was unusual to start a new season before the first one had even been released! It just felt like such a cool opportunity and I was really excited about it.
Playing a main character on The Madison is Pollack’s first regular TV role, and she’s really bonded with the cast. She says they’ve become like a second family, getting very close while filming the show.
I’m absolutely blown away by Season 2 – it’s even better than the first! Honestly, being part of this show feels like I’ve found a second family. We’re all so close and supportive of each other, and I’m just really thrilled about everything. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created this season. It’s a bit unusual to start working on a new season before the previous one has even been released, and when I found that out, I was so hyped! I’m just genuinely excited for everyone to experience it.
Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, Ben Schnetzer, Amiah Miller, Rebecca Spence, Kevin Zegers, and Danielle Vasinova join Jason Pollack in a new film that’s being described as a successor to Tombstone.
Many of Pollack’s colleagues started acting long before she did. Michelle Pfeiffer is famous for her roles in films like The Witches of Eastwick, Scarface, Married to the Mob, Dangerous Liaisons, The Fabulous Baker Boys, and Batman Returns.
Kurt Russell has appeared in many popular films, including Silkwood, Escape from New York, Overboard, Tombstone, Vanilla Sky, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Both he and his wife have also been in movies within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Clyburn family relocates from New York to Montana in their new project, The Madison, hoping to heal after a difficult family loss. Pfeiffer and Russell star as parents Stacy and Preston, while Pollack plays their granddaughter, Macy.
This new series is the latest Western created by Taylor Sheridan, known for popular shows like Yellowstone, 1883, Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, Tulsa King, Lioness, and Landman.
He’s also executive-produced Lawmen: Bass Reeves and the brand-new CBS drama Marshals.
Sheridan not only created and wrote The Madison, but also executive produced it with a team including Pfeiffer, Russell, Keith Cox, Michael Friedman, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Art Linson, John Linson, Christina Alexandra Voros, and Bob Yari.
The Madison premieres Saturday, March 14 on Paramount+.
