Netmarble and Netmarble Monster have announced that the action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE will be available on PC (through its official launcher and the Epic Games Store), and on iOS and Android devices starting April 15th. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will follow at a later time. Players can pre-register now on the App Store, Google Play, and the official game website.
Netmarble Monster CEO Ken Kim announced they are putting all their energy into the final touches for MONGIL: STAR DIVE to ensure it’s a top-quality game. He promised players worldwide that the game will live up to their excitement and expectations.
Here is an overview of the game, via Netmarble:
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is the sequel to the popular 2013 mobile game Monster Taming. Created with Unreal Engine 5, this new title features stunning visuals, exciting real-time battles, and a unique team battle system where you quickly switch between three characters to create fast-paced, strategic combat.
This game is full of lovable and unique characters, and lets you collect monsters called “Monsterlings.” You can capture, collect, and even combine these Monsterlings to make your team stronger and create new ways to play and advance in the game.
Before its official release, MONGIL: STAR DIVE was thoroughly tested by players around the world in closed beta tests to improve how it plays and ensure it runs smoothly. The game was also featured at big gaming events like Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show, giving players and the press a chance to try it out and see it in action.
Netmarble made a splash at G-STAR 2025 by revealing a new region and characters with Korean influences. This week at GDC 2026 in San Francisco, they’ve again captured global attention with a hands-on demo in partnership with Xbox and by sharing new gameplay footage.
