Skystone Games and Streetlamp Studio revealed SlashZero, a fast-paced action platformer with an anime style. It’s a roguelike game – meaning levels change with each playthrough – and will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players will soon have a chance to try it out in an upcoming playtest.
Streetlamp Studio’s Jun explained in a press release that their goal with SlashZero was to create a truly exceptional side-scrolling roguelite. They achieved this by focusing on stunning 3D animation and smooth gameplay, and by releasing the game on both PC and consoles at the same time. The result is a visually impressive experience that truly rewards player skill.

SlashZero is a fast-paced, anime-inspired action game where you explore a cyberpunk world and battle enemies. Create unique characters by collecting and combining special items – Authority Keys, Blessings, and Codes – to unlock hundreds of different builds.
You can also find valuable information in the Chamber of Secrets and collect resources to help you improve your character and abilities.
Cross Shattered Timelines to Save the World
When HIEROS, the Lord of the Void, appears, powerful Authority Keys begin to surface. These Keys, fragments of causality, create the Null Void, and inspire the Timehackers – a group fighting against HIEROS’s control.
As a Timehacker, you’ll journey through different timelines, searching for powerful, untainted Authority Keys. Your mission: find HIEROS, defeat him, and save the world!
