Even though only two episodes of the first season have aired, the show Marshals has already been picked up for a second season, which is great news for fans!
It’s not surprising that the show is coming back so quickly. Taylor Sheridan’s dramas are consistently popular on Paramount Plus, and fans clearly enjoy them. Plus, because ‘Marshals’ is connected to the ‘Yellowstone‘ universe, it’s likely to be a hit.
CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach announced the show’s renewal, stating that ‘Marshals’ quickly became a hit, attracting a large audience across all platforms and proving itself to be a strong new series.
The incredibly positive reaction from viewers shows how compelling the world of Yellowstone is, thanks to the show’s strong characters, the creative team’s writing, and the powerful performances from the cast, especially Luke Grimes.

Luke Grimes returns as Kayce Dutton in the new series, following the son of John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner). This time, Kayce has left the Yellowstone Ranch and is working with a special group of US Marshals, using his experience as both a cowboy and a Navy SEAL.
The upcoming episodes of Marshals will explore how Kayce and his team struggle to juggle their personal lives, their responsibilities as law enforcement, and the emotional toll of being the final protectors against rising violence in the area.
Wow, the new season of Yellowstone really hit the ground running! Right from the first episode, a lot of what fans had been guessing about Monica – Kelsey Asbille plays her – actually came true. It was a really tough scene, honestly, super emotional, but it definitely proves this season is going to be a real rollercoaster and completely captivating. It’s already clear this show isn’t afraid to take risks and keep you on the edge of your seat.
Though viewers might have hoped to see familiar characters from Yellowstone in the new series Marshals, the show features a completely fresh cast, including Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, and Tatanka Means.
Marshals is quickly becoming a hit, and we expect even more compelling stories and character development as the season continues. It’s currently averaging 20.6 million viewers and got off to a fantastic start – it was the most popular new show without a football game leading into it since Young Sheldon premiered in 2017. The first episode was also the most-streamed episode ever on Paramount Plus.
It’s clear many people are enjoying the show and will likely continue watching both the rest of this season and the next one.
