Elden Ring Gets Official New Release On March 19

Fans of Elden Ring are eagerly anticipating what’s next for the series, and many are hoping for a sequel, Elden Ring 2. With a version of Elden Ring planned for the new Switch 2 console this year (if there aren’t any delays) and a movie being made by Alex Garland, it’s a really exciting time to be a fan of the game.

Though fans might be hoping for different news, Elden Ring is receiving a new official release on March 19th from FromSoftware and Bandai Namco. You can pre-order it now through the Bandai Namco Store.

Elden Ring Returns This Week With A Beautiful New Release

Fans of Elden Ring can now purchase two new collector’s items at the Bandai Namco Store: woven blankets featuring Ranni the Witch and Maliketh the Black Blade. These beautifully designed blankets showcase iconic characters from the game and will be officially available for purchase starting March 19th, with pre-orders open now.

The Ranni the Witch blanket features a beautiful design that evokes the mystical Age of Stars with its deep blue colors and moonlit imagery. The Maliketh the Black Blade blanket is perfect for fans of the game’s dark fantasy setting. Both blankets are currently available for around $70 USD.

These blankets are made from a soft and comfortable mix of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and have a stylish tasseled edge. They measure approximately 160 x 130 cm and are perfect for any fan of the game Elden Ring. A third blanket with a Mesmer the Impaler design is also available, and it’s currently 20% off, though it’s an older item.

Will We Ever Get Elden Ring 2?

These collectible items will definitely help players stay warm as they journey through the world of Elden Ring, but fans are really hoping FromSoftware will announce a sequel, even though it seems unlikely. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has stated that a second game isn’t being developed right now, but he hasn’t ruled it out completely.

FromSoftware is currently busy with several projects, including the upcoming release of The Duskbloods on the Nintendo Switch 2. While that’s happening, a sequel to Elden Ring is still a possibility as long as Hidetaka Miyazaki doesn’t explicitly rule it out—and even then, fans will probably continue to hope for it, just like with Bloodborne.

Although fans are unsure what’s next for the Elden Ring series, there’s still a lot to be excited about. A movie adaptation directed by Alex Garland is being made by A24, and the game is expected to be released on the Nintendo Switch soon.
