Having recently celebrated its 800th episode, The Simpsons continues to be one of the longest-running prime-time television shows ever. The show began in 1987 as animated shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show, and the famously yellow family quickly became a major part of modern pop culture. Reaching 800 episodes is a significant accomplishment, demonstrating the show’s lasting popularity with viewers across many generations. However, The Simpsons isn’t the only animated sitcom to achieve such a long run.

Everyone talks about how amazing The Simpsons is, and a lot of episodes really are classics! But it’s not the only show that’s given us years and years of great TV. Actually, quite a few shows have way more episodes than The Simpsons, and some of them are just as good, if not better. So, I’ve put together a list of 10 other fantastic shows that have aired even more episodes than Springfield’s finest.

10) The Young and the Restless (13,000+ Episodes)

While many soap operas run for a long time, The Young and the Restless is one of the longest-running. It has been on American television since 1973 and has now aired over 13,000 episodes.
