These ladies are ready to PAAAAAAAAARTY.
The stars of Bridesmaids – Rose Byrne, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, and Ellie Kemper – got back together to celebrate the movie’s 15th anniversary. They presented the award for Best Original Score at the 2026 Oscars on March 15th. (Check out more photos of celebrities on the Academy Awards red carpet here.)
Kristen started her speech at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood by expressing how happy everyone was to be reunited. She marveled that it had been 15 years since the movie was made, admitting they had to quickly calculate the year – meaning filming took place in 1883.
While Ellie was announcing the nominees, audience members started sending up notes with their honest opinions, interrupting the presentation.
Maya shared that a note she received read, ‘First of all, you ladies look extremely beautiful tonight.’ She thought that was lovely, and it also said, ‘You’re all aging well,’ followed by the signature of Stellan Skarsgård.
The drama really escalated after rumors surfaced about notes from Kate Winslet. It all started when Kate received a message from Leonardo DiCaprio that said, “Rose, please stop looking at me. The eye contact is too intense, and I’m starting to feel uncomfortable. I might have to leave.”
Following a playful nod from the star of One Battle After Another, who is nominated for Best Actor, Rose confessed she had initially mistaken him for someone else.
As a big fan of Sentimental Value, I noticed the cast seemed really prepared! Melissa was actually reading a comment that Elle Fanning had left – it was so sweet to see them referencing fan interactions like that.
She admitted her handwriting was nearly illegible, describing it as “really pretty terrible.” She explained the note read, “Hi, I’m with Stellan Skarsgård, writing my own separate note. I also agree you ladies look radiant.”
Elle Fanning jokingly sent a message saying she appreciated everyone’s makeup, signing it ‘Yours truly, Elle Fanning.’ Then, she playfully added another note, revealing it was actually Stellan Skarsgård pretending to be her.

Meanwhile, Kristen had gotten a message mid-monologue.
She read the message: ‘You’ve been talking for a while now. This part could be much shorter – it’s really dragging on. You’re not even discussing the score! That’s all. Love, Benicio Del Toro – or, for those unfamiliar with Spanish, Benedict of the Bull.’
After the quirky group finally finished reading the results, Kristen announced that Sinners had won the gold medal.
The actresses from Bridesmaids have reunited, and there’s more exciting news: Rose has been nominated for an Oscar for her leading role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. She’ll be competing against Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia) at the ceremony, which will be hosted by Conan O’Brien.

Rose will be joined by her partner, Bobby Cannavale, this time around. He wasn’t able to attend the 2026 Golden Globes when she won Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy.
She jokingly thanked her husband, Bobby Cannavale, explaining he couldn’t attend because he was at a reptile show in New Jersey picking up a new pet – a bearded dragon. She affectionately called him ‘baby’ as she expressed her gratitude.
Actor Bobby Cannavale recently adopted a bearded dragon named Benny Blue, and the reptile has become close to Cannavale’s 30-year-old son, Jake. Jake, whom Cannavale shares with ex-wife Jenny Lumet, told TopMob News that he and Benny have become very good friends, saying, “Me and Benny are tight.”
He pointed out that it was amusing to see how much his dad had changed. His dad used to dislike pets as a child, but now that he’s a father again, he absolutely loves animals. He thought the transformation was really funny.
Keep the party going with more winners from the 2026 Oscars.
