2026 looks set to be a major year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The year began with the release of Wonder Man, introducing a new powerful hero. While only two films – Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer and Avengers: Doomsday in December – are currently scheduled for theatrical release, both are expected to be massive hits. Fans are also eagerly awaiting new episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and X-Men ’97, along with the debut of Vision Quest. Overall, it promises to be a very exciting year for Marvel fans.
As a Marvel fan, I’m really looking forward to the return of Daredevil with the new season of Born Again later this month! The promise of seeing the Kingpin storyline unfold and Krysten Ritter reprising her role as Jessica Jones has me especially excited. But Marvel isn’t stopping there – they’re also launching the Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast this week, giving us behind-the-scenes insights from the cast and crew as they break down each episode. It’s a great way to dive even deeper into the new season before it even begins!
Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast Confirmed by Marvel
Marvel announced that the official podcast for Daredevil: Born Again will launch its first episode tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17th, coinciding with the premiere of the series on Disney+. Each episode of the podcast will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the show, featuring insights from stars like Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, as well as showrunner Dario Scardapane and others. Listeners can expect detailed discussions about each episode, plus fun extras like hidden Easter eggs and a closer look at the production details – including stunts, music, and costumes.
The first episode of the Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast, launching this week, will be a broad discussion about the show’s history. Executive producer Sana Amanat and Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum will join hosts Bethel and Scardapane. It will be fascinating to learn how far back the conversation goes – whether they’ll cover events from the previous Netflix series or hint at characters who might appear later in Born Again.
I was a little worried when I first heard about this podcast, thinking it would only be on Disney+. But thankfully, Marvel has clarified that it’s going to be much more accessible! We’ll be able to watch it on Disney+ and YouTube, and for those of us who prefer to just listen, there will be an audio version on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and all the other usual podcast apps. I’m so relieved!
The Daredevil: Born Again Official Podcast is a first for Marvel Studios, marking the first time they’ve created a companion podcast for one of their original shows. Other networks, like HBO, have successfully used podcasts to complement popular series – The Last of Us, Peacemaker, House of the Dragon, and Succession all had their own podcasts. Similarly, Prime Video’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and FX’s Shogun also received this type of companion content.
