After the huge success of the first movie in the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy, the anime is now gearing up for the next two films before moving on to adapt the final story arc. Infinity Castle is the arc right before the very end, and it features the massive battle between the Demon Slayers and the powerful Upper Moons. The first film broke records, earning over 100 billion yen worldwide last November, and its popularity has continued to grow. As the highest-grossing anime film ever made – surpassing even the Mugen Train movie – Demon Slayer remains a major topic of conversation, especially after a special release in ScreenX format. While fans are eager for more news from the animation studio, the anime’s official website recently shared a new look at the male characters.
To celebrate White Day, the website released an image of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Genya, and the male Hashira all dressed in modern clothes and holding desserts and stuffed animals. White Day, celebrated on March 14th in Japan and East Asia, is a tradition where men give gifts in return for the chocolates and presents they received from women on Valentine’s Day – which is why the image features only the male characters.
Demon Slayer Will Continue The Battle in Infinity Castle Part 2

The Infinity Castle Arc brings all the major characters, including the Hashira, together to battle the Upper Moons. It’s the longest story arc in the series, giving almost everyone a moment to stand out. The first movie centers around Tanjiro, Giyu, Zenitsu, and Shinobu as they face their opponents. While these characters won’t be in the next film, it will instead follow a new group of heroes.
With Akaza and Kaigaku defeated, three Upper Rank Demons remain, including the incredibly strong Kokushibo and Doma – both pose a serious threat even to the Hashira. While Kokushibo hasn’t fought yet, Doma has already killed Shinobu and shows no signs of stopping, even provoking Kanao into a battle. However, Shinobu may have left Kanao a secret signal before her death, suggesting they have a plan to counter Doma’s powerful abilities. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the next part of the story will be released this year, based on the current lack of updates from the anime.
Infinity Castle premiered in Japan in July 2025, with a worldwide release following in September. Because the first movie is still being shown in theaters, the dates for when it will be available for streaming have been delayed. While fans might get a first look at the film with a teaser or key visual later this year, those plans aren’t confirmed yet. The anime itself doesn’t have any big announcements for 2026, but starting in April, Japanese TV channels like Fuji TV will be broadcasting all episodes of the series, excluding the newest film.
