Whitney Leavitt might be dancing away from reality TV.
The star of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, who is currently playing Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, has suggested she may be ready to leave the Hulu series and pursue other passions.
Whitney recently told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s learning as she goes and working with others to navigate the situation. She believes this collaborative approach will likely determine the final outcome.
She explained that while she’s grateful for everything, she’s ready to pursue other goals and passions she’s had for a long time, even before being on the show.
As the 32-year-old explained, she has “always been a performer” even before appearing on SLOMW.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant is eager to continue performing and says she’s hoping to appear in more movies, as she loves both entertaining and acting.
Despite the challenges, Whitney, who shares three children – Sedona, 6, Liam, 4, and Billy, 17 months – with her husband, Conner Leavitt, is thankful for the experiences she’s gained from being on the reality show.
She explained that she owes her current success to the platform and community they built together, but feels it might be time to explore new opportunities and expand her work in different directions.
Whitney feels confident that her fellow wives will support her if she ever decides to leave the relationship. She believes they would understand and encourage her choice.

Although she and her fellow cast members have experienced plenty of on-set conflicts during filming of the show—which recently paused production on its fifth season—Whitney has openly discussed her strained relationship with costar Jen Affleck, following a disagreement after they both appeared on Dancing With the Stars.
She recently told TopMob News that she’s distanced herself from the relationship, but is now focusing on the future.
Whitney added, “I hope she can do the same and just be cordial.”
