Comic Relief’s ‘Funny for Money’ will be broadcast live from MediaCityUK in Salford as usual, but this year it will also be live-streamed for the first time on the BBC’s official YouTube channel.
Davina McCall is back to host the show, and she’ll be joined by a hilarious group of comedians: Katherine Ryan, Nick Mohammed, Joel Dommett, and Catherine Tate reprising her iconic character Nan! Together, they’ll present a night packed with fun and laughter.

You’ll see favorites from artists like Adele, One Direction, and the Spice Girls, plus some rare and delightful moments featuring Sam Smith, John Legend, Helen Mirren, Robbie Coltrane, and even Alan Partridge doing his take on Kate Bush!

I’m so impressed with Greg James! Since last Friday, the 13th of March, he’s been cycling an incredible 1,000km across the UK on a tandem bike, all to raise money for Red Nose Day. He’s really pushing himself, spending eight days cycling through England and Wales, and he’s aiming to finish up in Edinburgh this Friday, the 20th. If you want to follow his journey and support a great cause, you can listen to BBC Radio 1 and BBC Sounds all week for ‘Radio 1’s Longest Ride with Greg James’.
Tune in to The One Show on Thursday, March 19th for a first look at some of the show’s biggest sketches and studio highlights. The episode will include a peek behind the scenes at “Amandaland” and a live update on rehearsals happening in Salford.

What is the Red Nose Day Amandaland sketch?

Lucy Punch and Philippa Dunne are bringing back their characters Amanda and Anne in a funny new sketch. This time, they’ll be guests on a BBC interview with Sara Cox.
But things don’t go to plan…
The show will feature a fantastic lineup of Amandas, including Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden, property expert Amanda Lamb, Coronation Street star Amanda Barrie, TV presenter Amanda Byram, and Amanda Collier, who recently appeared on The Traitors.
Where can I buy Red Noses for Comic Relief 2026?
Amazon is once more the official home of the Red Nose and they can be purchased from just £2.50.
There is also a collector pack with a surprise nose for £12.50, or a multipack of 30 noses for £60.

As a big movie fan, I was really happy to hear that some of the money from the movie’s merchandise will be donated to Comic Relief. They do amazing work helping people both here in the UK and all over the world by fighting poverty and providing things like food, healthcare, and safe places to live. It’s great to support a good cause while getting some cool movie stuff!
Red Nose Day 2026 airs on Friday 20 March at 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
Details on how to get involved this Red Nose Day can be found on the Comic Relief website.
