Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land Launches March 26, Promises “The Ultimate Survival Experience”

Techland is releasing a new version of Dying Light: The Beast called the “Restored Land Edition” on March 26th. It comes with the original game and all previously released updates. Plus, there’s a new update called “Restored Land” that will be available to everyone who already owns the game at no extra cost.

Restored Land dramatically changes how you play the game, offering a very difficult, single-player experience focused on true survival. It makes the game world, Castor Woods, permanent – once you clear zombies from an area, they stay gone.

This also means once you’ve taken items or completed activities like convoys and dark zone missions, they won’t reset or be available again. To increase the difficulty, resources are limited and shops will cost more. On top of that, you’ll need to manage Kyle Crane’s hunger and keep your flashlight working – neglecting either will come with consequences, like penalties for hunger and needing to replace flashlight batteries.

If you’re up for a real challenge, you can try One Life mode. As the name suggests, you only get one life – if you die, you have to begin the game from the very start.

Finishing a Restored Land run will earn you exclusive rewards, including a unique character skin, but there’s more! New Roadkill Rallies offer exciting time-based challenges where you race and eliminate infected enemies. Successfully completing these rallies unlocks a heavily upgraded vehicle designed to cause even more chaos while you explore the open world.
