3 Best Movies To Watch On Netflix This Week (March 23-27)

I used to get so frustrated with Netflix! You spend more time searching for something good than actually watching it, right? It’s amazing how much stuff they have, but it can be totally overwhelming. Every month brings new shows and movies, which is great, but it just makes deciding what to watch even harder. That’s why I’m excited to share three shows I think are absolute winners – they’ve really saved me from endless scrolling!

This week’s movie recommendations are quite diverse, all released within the last few years. From hidden sci-fi gems to exciting action movies and comedies, there’s a film for every taste. With so much available to watch, these three really stand out and should be at the top of your list.

3. Sisu: Road To Revenge (2025)

The 2022 film Sisu was a remarkably original revenge story, and its 2025 sequel is equally impressive. Sisu: Road to Revenge continues the story of Korpi, who is once again hunted by the Red Army officer responsible for his family’s death. The sequel delivers on everything fans would expect, and even surpasses the original in terms of action and intensity.

This Finnish action epic is relentlessly paced and packed with non-stop thrills that will satisfy even the most demanding action movie fans. While knowing the story from the first film helps, it’s not essential. Sisu: Road to Revenge fully commits to its over-the-top style, constantly pushing the boundaries of what you typically see in action movies.

2. Honey Don’t! (2025)

Ethan Coen’s Honey Don’t!, the second installment of a planned trilogy, playfully spoofs old-fashioned detective films. The story follows private investigator Honey O’Donahue as she investigates a murder connected to an unusual church. Starring Margaret Qualley and Aubrey Plaza, the film benefits from the fantastic comedic timing and connection between the two leads.

I have to say, even though Honey Don’t! got a bit of a mixed reaction, I didn’t think it was bad at all. It’s clearly a loving nod to those fun, gritty drive-in movies from the ’70s, but it doesn’t take itself too seriously – it’s got a playful energy. Plus, it’s got some real star power with Qualley, Plaza, and Chris Evans, and honestly, it’s just a fun, lighthearted movie if you’re in the mood for something like that.

1. The Creator (2023)

Despite initially underperforming in theaters, the film The Creator is now gaining popularity thanks to streaming platforms like Netflix. The movie follows an elite soldier sent on a mission to find the enigmatic “Creator,” whose invention could end a war between humans and artificial intelligence. What makes The Creator stand out is its distinctive and visually stunning style, offering something different from typical science fiction films.

I’ve been a big fan of The Creator for a while now, and it’s amazing to see it finally getting the recognition it deserves! It didn’t have a big studio backing it at first, which really hurt its initial release, but it’s become a cult favorite, and I totally get why. Honestly, it feels like a real cinematic experience, and it’s perfect to watch on Netflix – you get that big-screen feel without even having to leave the house!
