Vi, the law enforcer from Piltover, is set to become a playable character in the free-to-play tag fighting game 2XKO, which is based on League of Legends. The closed beta test for PC starts on September 9, as confirmed by Riot Games. If you’re interested in joining, you can sign up here.
In a recent announcement from Riot Games, they shared that following the start of the Closed Beta, their aim is to keep the game operational, excluding any essential maintenance periods. This marks a significant milestone for them since it’s their initial deployment of backend systems on a larger scale. The early stages might encounter some turbulence, but rest assured they will make improvements along the way.
As an ardent supporter, I’m thrilled to share that we’re embarking on a significant milestone! For the first time, we’re expanding our backend systems to operate on a broader scale. While the initial journey might be a bit rocky, rest assured, we’ll learn and adapt as we navigate this new terrain, ensuring a smoother experience for all in the long run.
2XKO is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2025.
