Monster Hunter Wilds is carrying on the tradition of seasonal updates by hosting the Flamefete Festival, a summer celebration starting from July 23rd and ending on August 6th. This event offers a wealth of exclusive content tailored for the peak of summer heat.
Usually, the event spans over a two-week period within the game and starts with fresh summer-inspired quests. However, the main festival occurs at the Grand Hub. This implies that players must have attained Hunter Rank 16 or higher to gain access to this social space. The Grand Hub was introduced as part of the first title update for the Wilds earlier this spring.
The Grand Plaza will undergo renovation and offer a fresh summer-inspired menu, along with interactive mini-games such as playing catch with a beach ball. Moreover, there’s a water gun gesture that temporarily transforms Monster Hunter Wilds into a water gun battlefield in third-person perspective. Capcom is inviting players to join forces and have a splashing good time in the Grand Plaza during the festival.
As I watched the latest event trailer, it appeared that the Grand Hub would be hosting some spectacular fireworks and performances – definitely events worth catching! Taking part in the Flamefete Festival and logging in during the two-week period will shower us players with an abundance of awesome rewards, such as Seikret decorations and hunter/Palico gear imbued with a fiery theme.
As a festival-goer, I’m thrilled to share that beyond the festive boundaries, two fresh event quests are in store! One of them promises an elastic diving suit, crafted from the leathery hide of the venomous Rompopolo beast. The other tantalizes us with a humorous weapon, the Cornpopper – imagine a gunlance fashioned like a giant corncob!
Moreover, many beloved event quests from previous festivals will also make a comeback during this celebration. Can’t wait to join in the fun!
As a fervent enthusiast, if the excitement of the summer festival has left me parched for more, I’m thrilled to share that the update brings not just refreshment, but also new swimwear outfits for my favorite character, the Hunter! Not only the Hunter, but also beloved NPCs such as Alma, Erik, and Gemma will be sporting these stylish new looks.
For those eager to collect these fashionable additions, a DLC pack will be available starting July 23. This purchase grants permanent access to these cosmetics, ensuring they’re yours to keep even after the event concludes.
But wait, there’s more! The update also lets Fabius, the leader of Wilds’ Hunting Guild, join me in the field as an ally. How exciting is that? Now I can team up with my favorite NPC and embark on thrilling adventures together!
The Flamefete Festival begins on July 23, coinciding with the arrival of the Arch-tempered Uth Duna, which are elements included in the game’s second free expansion update for the RPG.
