On certain instances, traditional games can become quite a hassle – notably for smaller gaming companies such as Reef Entertainment.
The eye-catchingly impressive, side-scrolling shooter game “Terminator 2D” had its launch date adjusted from September 5th to October 31st. This change is due to addressing some production problems related to the physical edition’s distribution.
The Bitmap Bureau team plans to utilize the additional time for refining the game’s title, which will also cause a digital delay in the game’s release.
Here’s what a spokesperson told us in a statement:
We’ve found that preparing and producing the actual game release is taking longer than expected, leading us to postpone the game launch. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience. This delay provides our team at Bitmap Bureau with additional time to fine-tune the game, ensuring you can enjoy the best version of Terminator 2D: No Fate. Consequently, this delay affects both physical and digital versions of the game.
Although there might be a brief wait, the end product – a superior quality game – makes it hard to grumble excessively. Moreover, considering the vintage-inspired nature of our project, we consider it crucial to have a top-notch physical version available at the release itself.
