Fans first met Yuta in the prequel movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, where we learned about his heartbreaking past and the loss of someone he loved. Now, Rika, who is tied to Yuta as a powerful spirit, plays a major role in helping him during the Culling Game. Yuta faces off against three different villains, each with their own special abilities, making for a challenging and action-packed fight.
Yuta wins, but the battle leaves him badly injured. Although a new season of the anime isn’t available yet, the future looks exciting, with major events from the Culling Game still to be shown. The end of season three briefly showed what Megumi, Yuji, Takaba, and Maki will be doing next, hinting at their important roles in the upcoming season.
As a huge fan, I was a little sad to see Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo wrap up in Weekly Shonen Jump! It feels like the end of an era for the manga, though honestly, with how popular Jujutsu Kaisen is, I fully expect we’ll be watching the anime for years to come. It just feels inevitable that the original story and now Modulo will eventually make their way to the screen, and I can’t wait!
