Megan Thee Stallion is the real hot girl dog mom.

Cardi B recently shared some happy news about her family – she adopted a dog named Tyger! He was going to be put down at the animal shelter, but she saved him.

Megan shared in an Instagram video on March 27th that she recently adopted a dog. She explained she was shocked to learn about ‘kill shelters’ – places that euthanize dogs when they can’t find them homes – and decided to rescue one.

Megan, currently playing Zidler in the Broadway hit Moulin Rouge! The Musical, was moved to adopt her adorable new pet after learning about the plight of animals in kill shelters.

“That’s awful! They were planning to euthanize him yesterday,” she said, her voice filled with emotion. “I immediately told them, ‘Please, don’t! I’ll take him home and care for him myself.’”

Megan is thrilled about getting a new puppy, but she’s a little worried about how her French Bulldog, 4oe (also known as Foe), and her other pets will react to the new addition to the family.

Megan worried about how Foe would react to the news, and also how his children would take it.

Based on how sweetly Tyger snuggles into Megan’s neck in the video, he seems like a perfect fit for her home. Megan knew immediately she couldn’t leave without him, and felt strongly that she needed to rescue him.

“Aww, my new son,” she added in the clip, giving her new pup a sweet kiss. “He’s so happy.”

She felt good about bringing Tyger home to meet Foe, his three puppies, and her cat, Nine. She said, “We’ll see how Tyger settles in tonight. I’m not sure what breed he is, but he’s definitely part of the family.”

Tyger joined the family just weeks after Megan publicly shared her affection for her new pet, celebrating his birthday with a sweet post.

Megan shared a birthday post on Instagram on March 14th, featuring a photo of her son, Foe, wearing a birthday hat and sitting with a large cookie. She captioned the post, “Happy birthday to my sonnnn.”
