See Miss Thailand Contestant’s Teeth Fall Out During Pageant

A Miss Grand Thailand contestant is giving new meaning to dental crowns.

Let me tell you, I was shocked – and so were the pageant viewers – when Kamolwan Chanago was giving her preliminary speech and her veneers actually came loose! It happened on March 25th, and it was a really unexpected moment, to say the least. It just goes to show, sometimes things don’t go as planned, even on stage!

During a livestream, an 18-year-old’s temporary dental veneers came loose while she was introducing herself on stage. She briefly turned away from the camera, clearly trying to reposition them with her tongue.

Kamolwan confidently walked the runway in her sparkling evening gown, just like a seasoned model. As one of 77 contestants competing for the title, she beamed and twirled, playfully flipping her fur shawl before exiting the stage.

Although the athlete from Pathum Thani hasn’t spoken publicly about the mistake, event organizers commended her for reacting to it calmly and professionally.

During the Miss Grand International competition, Kamolwan Chanago had a small mishap on stage when some of her veneers came loose, according to a spokesperson for the organization. They praised her poise and confidence throughout the event.

The spokesperson added that the event “continued smoothly without disruption.”

Kamolwan will compete in the final round on March 28th. If she wins, she’ll represent the country at the Miss Grand International competition in India this October.

She isn’t the only performer who’s had an onstage dental problem. LeAnn Rimes, for example, lost a fake tooth while singing last year.

She remembered being onstage during her performance of ‘One Way Ticket’ when she felt something come loose in her mouth. In a June Instagram video, she explained that she’d had a lot of dental work, including a bridge in the front of her mouth, and it had fallen out while she was singing.

Despite a moment of panic, the Grammy-winning artist continued her performance. She explained that she quickly fixed a problem – she ran to the side of the stage, adjusted it, and immediately resumed singing.

LeAnn explained she needed to be honest with the audience about what was going on, otherwise she would have had to leave the stage.

While performing his last song, “Country Girl (Shake It For Me)”, at the North Dakota State Fair in 2025, the American Idol judge was hit with something thrown from the audience. He didn’t let it bother him, though, and finished the song perfectly.

As one fan noted, “Carried on like a champ.”

During a 2023 concert in California, a Jonas Brother was forced to ask fans to stop throwing objects onto the stage after two bracelets nearly struck him.

Let me tell you, as a huge Cardi B fan, I was absolutely shocked by what happened in Vegas! Someone threw a drink on her while she was performing at Drai’s Beachclub in July 2023, and her reaction – throwing her microphone – was just…wow. Apparently, the person who got splashed actually filed a police report, claiming Cardi hurt them, but thankfully, it doesn’t look like anything is going to come of it. Cardi’s lawyers said the police told them in August that she won’t be facing any charges, which is a huge relief! I’m just glad she’s okay and can keep doing her thing.

Bebe Rexha is determined to enjoy herself despite a recent incident at her concert in New York City. In June 2023, she was hit in the face by a phone thrown from the audience and shared a photo of her injury, assuring fans she was okay. According to Todd A. Spodek, the lawyer for Nicolas Malvagna (who was arrested and charged with assault), Malvagna only intended to get a photo with Rexha using his phone as a memento and did not mean to hurt her.

Kelsea Ballerini was startled when someone threw a bracelet onto the stage during a concert in Idaho in June 2023. She explained on Instagram that it hit her in the eyes, but mostly just scared her rather than causing any real pain.

Ava Max is speaking out about an incident that happened during her June 2023 concert in Los Angeles. She explained on Twitter that a fan slapped her so hard it scratched her eye. She made it clear that this person is now banned from all of her shows, and clarified that despite her public image, she isn’t as gentle as people might think.

Oh my god, you guys, it was AMAZING! Pink was performing at British Summer Time in London last year, and someone actually threw a whole wheel of Brie at her while she was singing! She was so funny about it, she was like, ‘What the fk?’ and then said she wanted to kiss whoever threw it! It was the sweetest, weirdest thing ever. But then… the NEXT DAY? Someone threw a bag of ASHES at her! Can you believe it?! She was so confused and asked, ‘This is your mom?’ Honestly, I don’t know how she kept going, I would have been a wreck! It was insane, but also… peak Pink, you know?

It seems like anything goes at concerts these days! Harry Styles had to dodge various items thrown on stage during his Love on Tour, including, surprisingly, Skittles at a Los Angeles show in 2022. The candy brand later posted on Twitter asking fans not to throw their Skittles.

During a February 2022 concert, Billie Eilish was thrown a pair of fake breasts by a fan while she was singing “Lost Cause.” Showing she doesn’t let things bother her, the Grammy-winning singer threw them back into the audience and continued her performance.

Kid Cudi warned the audience at his 2022 Rolling Loud performance that he would leave if anyone threw anything else on stage. Shortly after, an object was thrown at him, and he followed through with his warning, walking off stage.

Fans were shocked when a lemon was thrown at Ariana Grande while she was performing at Coachella in 2019. Although she wasn’t pleased, Ariana quickly joked about it, telling the audience, “Someone just threw a lemon at me!”
