James Tolkan, a well-known character actor famous for his appearances in Top Gun and the Back to the Future movies, has died at the age of 94. He passed away on Thursday in Saranac Lake, New York.
Sources close to the Back to the Future team, such as writer-producer Bob Gale and publicist Michael Klastorin, have confirmed the passing of Tolkan. The news was also posted on the official Back to the Future website.
