Please be aware that this article contains spoilers from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Following a thrilling season in Winter 2026, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 ended on a major cliffhanger. The season finale included one of the series’ best fights yet, focusing on Yuta Okkotsu battling multiple opponents in Sendai Colony. The story revolves around the Culling Game, a deadly battle royale created by Kenjaku, which has thrown Tokyo into even more chaos following the devastating Shibuya Incident. Things quickly escalate as numerous enemies appear, but Gojo’s students prove they can handle any challenge.
The season concludes with a compelling speech from Ryomen Sukuna, who is patiently waiting for the right moment to put his plan into action. A fourth season has been confirmed, and it will cover the remainder of the Culling Game storyline. While the animation studio hasn’t revealed any details or a release date yet, fans are hoping for an update later this year. This next season will begin setting the stage for the story’s thrilling final arc.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Will Feature The Biggest Plot Twist in The Story

The Culling Game is the story’s longest section, and it’s where Sukuna will finally act on his plans. He’s been trying to possess Megumi’s body since the Fearsome Womb Arc, and the end of the Culling Game will be when he attempts it. Because Sukuna switched bodies, Yuji is no longer his host, but Yuji has learned to control his own powers. Sukuna, meanwhile, gains not only his original abilities but also Megumi’s techniques, including the powerful Mahoraga, which is what he’s been after all along.
As the story progresses, more terrible events will keep happening. A crucial decision alters the course of everything, leading to a massive confrontation in Shinjuku where all the sorcerers unite against a common enemy. The deadly Culling Game concludes with Gojo’s return – his students manage to free him from the Prison Realm. Shortly after he reappears, Sukuna immediately challenges Gojo to a fight.
For months, fans eagerly anticipated the battle between the series’ two strongest characters, which ultimately led into the story arc focused on the attack against Sukuna. The upcoming Season 4 will continue showcasing intense fights from the Culling Game arc, building up to the villain’s major plan. We’ll also discover more about Kenjaku and his ultimate goal, a revelation that could have huge consequences for the entire country.
