As a big collector myself, I know the really amazing stuff doesn’t always show up at my local comic or game shop. Sometimes, auctions are the best way to get these items to all of us fans! And honestly, this week’s auction has everything – whether you’re into comics, video games, or trading cards, there’s bound to be something you’ll want. I’m personally excited about seeing items from Legend of Zelda, the classic DC story ‘Death of Superman’, and some really cool stuff from a famous Marvel group!
We have so many items up for auction right now that it’s impossible to list them all, but we’ve highlighted a few special pieces for fans of DC, Marvel, and The Legend of Zelda. Let’s start with a Legend of Zelda game from Heritage Auctions. It’s a sealed copy graded 9.0 by PSA, and it’s in excellent condition. PSA’s research shows only 30 copies of this version have been graded, and the current minimum bid is $1,600.

This Week’s Auctions Include Two DC and Marvel Icons (But In Very Different Ways)

Good news for DC and Marvel fans! This week’s auctions feature two iconic items from each universe. While the items are quite different from each other, both are highly sought after by collectors.
Up for auction is a highly sought-after copy of Fantastic Four #1 from Heritage Auctions. Graded CGC VG 8.0 and part of a prestigious pedigree, this comic marks the very first appearance of Marvel’s Fantastic Four, along with iconic villains like Mole Man and Gigantic. It’s a key issue in Marvel history, and a book in this condition is valued at $78,000 according to the 2024 Overstreet guide. Current bidding stands at $55,000.
Let’s take a look at a really exciting auction happening in Washington D.C. right now! ComicConnect is auctioning off original artwork from Superman #75: The Death of Superman, drawn by artist Dan Jurgens. The auction includes key pages from this famous story, featuring several dramatic full-page illustrations of the fight between Superman and Doomsday.

The fight features iconic moments like Doomsday’s powerful uppercut, Superman breaking Doomsday’s spines, and a heartbreaking scene of Ma and Pa Kent watching the battle from afar. It also includes the well-known final moments of Superman’s life, with Lois Lane holding him, and the concluding scene of his initial death before his resurrection.
Prices for these items range from $5,700 to $413,111, with the most expensive being the original cover art for The Death of Superman, drawn by Dan Jurgens. With 15 days left in the auctions, now is a great time to bid if you’re looking to own a piece of Superman history.
