After PS5 Price Hikes, Sony Suspends Memory Card Sales Due to Supply Crisis

The company explained its decision by pointing to a worldwide shortage of memory chips, as well as other issues. Experts believe a shortage of helium, worsened by the conflict in Iran, is also contributing to problems for chip manufacturers.

Sony recently increased the price of the PlayStation 5 significantly, citing ongoing global economic challenges as the reason.
