Fallout’s second season was a massive hit globally, attracting 83 million viewers on Prime Video within the first 13 weeks of its release.
The first season of the post-apocalyptic drama gained even more viewers after the release of season two, bringing the total audience to 100 million people who watched at least part of the series.
Peter Friedlander, who leads global television at Amazon MGM Studios, announced that the show Fallout has been a huge hit with Prime Video viewers worldwide, reaching 100 million. He credited the show’s success to the creative teams at Kilter Films and Bethesda Game Studios, as well as the showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, and the dedication of the entire cast and crew.
The show continues to be a hit! Season two has become one of our four most successful launches ever, alongside season one. We’re excited to see the series expanding and look forward to season three.
Fallout is now the second most popular returning series on Prime Video, with only the second season of Reacher having been viewed more times.

Fallout takes place 200 years after a nuclear war wipes out civilization, and is based on the popular video game series. The story follows Lucy, played by Ella Purnell, as she tries to survive in the ruined and dangerous landscape of post-apocalyptic Los Angeles.
The series has been renewed for season 3, with production expected to begin in mid-2026.
So, as a huge fan of the show, I heard from Todd Howard, one of the main guys behind it all, that they’re already working on Season 3! He mentioned this in an interview with Variety – apparently, the writing is happening right now, covering both the game and TV sides of things.
We’re currently discussing plans for season three of the show and how we can integrate those themes into our games when they release, making sure everything feels natural and authentic.
Fallout is available to stream on Prime Video.
