Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are bringing their love to the cottage this spring.
Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie portrayed the intense connection between the hockey players in the series Heated Rivalry. Now, a musical version of their story is being performed in New York City, as announced in a press release on March 31st.
The off-Broadway musical Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical is a funny and playful show about the blossoming romance between Shane (played by Jimin Moon) and Ilya (played by Jay Armstrong Johnson). It’s described as a lively and entertaining production and will run for eight weeks starting May 26th at the 6th Floor Theater.
The show’s most emotional moments will be recreated on a smaller stage by a talented group of Broadway actors. What they didn’t know was that they weren’t auditioning for a role – they were being filmed for Season 2!
The show features a lively, upbeat soundtrack and some surprising characters, including one hilariously named ‘Ilya’s Ass.’ Expect plenty of jokes about the confusing timeline and how hard it is to follow the story’s jumps in time.
Expect plenty of dramatic scenes in this new musical, directed by Alan Kliffer and written by Dylan MarcAurele. It’s predicted to be a lively show that will have audiences reacting strongly – and enthusiastically!
As Jimin and Jay perform in the musical Heated Rivalry, Jacob Tierney is getting ready to film the second season of the Crave series.
The show’s creator announced in a February interview on CBS Mornings that filming will begin in August. They’re currently writing the new season and preparing for production this summer, promising fans more of the intense competition seen in Heated Rivalry will be coming to television very soon.

Crave, the streaming service working with Jacob on the series, has said they’re hoping to launch the show in spring 2027, though they haven’t officially announced a release date yet, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The creator of Letterkenny said he was surprised the show’s romance became so popular, especially since HBO only picked it up a week before it first aired in November.
He explained to Gayle King that they initially had no expectation of selling the show, or that anyone would even watch it. He hadn’t even started writing a second season, and wasn’t sure one would be ordered. Despite all that, he said, everything is now falling into place.
While everyone anticipates the premiere of Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical, here’s a look at other exciting new shows coming to the stage.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve been following Robert Downey Jr.’s exciting new chapter! After a fantastic run as Iron Man, he’s traded in the superhero suit for the stage, making his Broadway debut in 2024 with a play called McNeal. It’s a really thought-provoking story about a writer, Jacob McNeal, who receives some life-changing news – a terminal diagnosis and a Nobel Prize – all in the same day. The interesting twist? He decides to use artificial intelligence to help him write one last novel, even though he’s always been against the idea of AI. It’s a fascinating look at creativity and technology!
As for why the Iron-Man star decided to hit the stage in the Bartlett Sher-directed production?
Speaking to Vogue in October 2024, he described the new play as having a relevant theme and featuring a talented cast, including Bart. He noted that the playwright, Ayad, has a unique style of presenting conflicting ideas within the same line of dialogue, often immediately challenging or undermining his previous statements.
Before starting his new role, Robert reached out to Bradley Cooper—a fellow Marvel actor who received a Tony Award nomination for his 2015 performance in The Elephant Man—to ask for guidance.
Robert remembered telling someone, ‘Just remember you’ll be aware of your feet, but when you walk on stage, the audience will feel supportive and comforting.’ He explained to The Independent that he thought this was a good mindset, so he decided to embrace the experience like Bradley Cooper would – letting it unfold naturally and beautifully.

Whitney Leavitt quickly transitioned from competing on Dancing With the Stars – where she was eliminated in November 2025 – to performing in Chicago on Broadway. Originally scheduled for a six-week run as Roxie Hart ending in March 2026, strong audience demand extended her engagement into April.
Whitney is popular for her bubbly personality on the Hulu reality show alongside Taylor Frankie Paul, Mayci Neeley, and other social media moms. But before becoming a reality TV star, she was a dedicated dancer who studied at Brigham Young University in Utah and always hoped to perform on stage.
She told Playbill in March 2026 that performing has always been a natural part of who she is. As a child, she loved creating dances and homemade music videos for her family, often gathering her cousins to put on shows for the adults.
And yet she still had nerves about taking her dance skills from TikTok to the Great White Way.
In a February 2026 Instagram video, she shared how overwhelmed she was feeling. She admitted she was particularly nervous about singing solo in front of a live audience for the first time. After a lot of preparation, she hoped the performance would feel natural and that she could simply trust her instincts when she took the stage.

Pamela Anderson showed she could handle the Broadway stage when she played Roxie Hart in Chicago. She connected with the story on a personal level and performed in the show for two months, finishing her run in June 2022.
She shared with TopMob News that April she’d experienced a lot of highs and lows in her life. She admitted she never fully understood what she was working towards, but now realizes she was getting ready for something bigger than she ever expected.
She felt a connection to Roxie, recognizing both her fragility and resilience. Roxie’s ability to face difficulties with humor and poise, think on her feet, and ultimately find positivity even in challenging situations – despite being misrepresented by the media – really resonated with her.
Although she was enthusiastic about the role, the former Baywatch star understood she had a lot of preparation ahead of her before she could convincingly play Roxie and wear the famous fringed dress.
She confessed she’d never pushed herself so hard, but she was thriving. She enjoyed the demanding work, especially the long rehearsals, and loved the feeling of exhaustion and satisfaction at the end of the day. She was learning everything she could, completely immersed in the experience. She’d always dreamed of being a performer, but never believed it would actually happen.
And the former Playboy model admitted she was surprised to be cast in the role.
Honestly, it feels a little surreal being here, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity. It definitely took a leap of faith to say yes! I’ve always believed singing takes courage, but I’m realizing it’s also a skill you really build – like a muscle. And I’m loving the process of getting stronger and learning more every single day.

Tom Felton charmed audiences during a nearly 20-week performance of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, where he returned to play Draco Malfoy as an adult.
Nearly two decades after the Battle of Hogwarts, the story centers on an unlikely friendship. Albus Severus Potter, son of Harry and Ginny, and Scorpius Malfoy, Draco’s son, both find themselves in Slytherin House and become friends.
Honestly, hearing Tom talk about it still gives me chills! He was on Today back in June 2025, and he said it felt like a total dream come true – like someone had to pinch him to make sure it was real. Can you believe it? He played that character sixteen years ago, and now he gets to revisit him, but as a dad this time, in a whole new story! It’s just… incredible. I’ve been waiting for this forever!
Despite appearing in all eight Harry Potter movies as the well-known villain, the actor admitted his stage presence wasn’t quite magical.
He explained that the play feels like a completely separate story from the Harry Potter movies he remembered as a child. Now, instead of being the young stars, they’re playing the adult characters – the parents. So, while revisiting a familiar role, it’s also a new and different experience for him.

Charli D’Amelio first gained fame on TikTok, then showcased her dancing on Dancing With the Stars in 2022. Now, she’s bringing her talents to Broadway, making her debut in the musical & Juliet in October 2024.
Originally, the influencer’s role as Charmian was scheduled to finish in January 2025, but it was extended on two separate occasions.
She expressed immense excitement about joining the Broadway scene, something she’d dreamed of since childhood. In a statement released in September 2024, ahead of her upcoming year-long engagement, she said making her Broadway debut – and especially being part of the cast of & Juliet – felt like a dream come true, and she was eager to share the experience with audiences.
Even though it was her Broadway debut, and the role in Shakespeare’s play involved a lot of dancing, she felt comfortable and prepared thanks to her years of experience.
She shared with ABC7 that November that dance had always been deeply meaningful to her. She explained that it allowed her to express herself when words weren’t enough.
Though, it was still hard to grapple with such a prestigious honor.
Charli, also a winner on Dancing with the Stars, shared that she never imagined she’d be where she is today, and often struggled with self-doubt. She expressed deep gratitude to everyone who supported her, especially her mom, who tirelessly drove her to dance classes and competitions, and always encouraged her to pursue her passion even when she lacked confidence.

I was so thrilled to see Ariana Madix step into the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago! After everything she went through with the whole Scandoval and her split from Tom Sandoval, it was amazing to see her thriving. She only had nine months after the breakup to prepare, and she absolutely killed it – a true inspiration!
Understandably, she described that chapter in her life to TopMob News as “the rollercoaster.”
Ariana, who performed in the musical from January to April and again from August to September in 2024, explained, “It’s impossible to sum all of that up briefly.”
For the reality TV personality, this experience allowed her to transform a difficult time into a major achievement.
She’s a master of emotions,” she said about Roxie. “She can be incredibly charming and flattering, but if you don’t immediately meet her needs, she’ll quickly turn on you.

Julianne Hough dreamed of performing on Broadway, but she was holding out for the perfect role. When she came across the play POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, she felt it was exactly what she’d been waiting for.
From April to August 2022, Alfonso Ribeiro, known for co-hosting Dancing With the Stars, played Dusty, a public relations aide for a controversial U.S. president. He starred alongside Rachel Dratch, Vanessa Williams, Julie White, Lilli Cooper, and Lea DeLaria as the seven women worked to manage the politician’s image and keep him out of trouble.
She mentioned talks about performing on Broadway, but told TopMob News in May 2022 that she didn’t want it to just be something she accomplished and moved on from. She wanted to truly become part of the Broadway community, learn from it, and contribute, rather than just making a brief appearance.

Nicole Scherzinger always dreamed of stardom. She achieved early success touring the world and enjoying the perks of being the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls. However, she felt her biggest dream came true when she played Norma Desmond in the musical Sunset Boulevard from October 2024 to July 2025.
Nicole, the 2025 Tony Award winner for Best Actress in a Musical, shared with TopMob News that she always felt unfulfilled. ‘I never felt like I was truly living my purpose or happy with who I was,’ she explained. ‘I knew I had more to offer, and this role finally let me give it my all. It’s been life-changing, and I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity.’
