Although the Spider-Man actress understands fans are curious about the hint from stylist Law Roach suggesting a new development in their relationship, she’s stated they will always remain private about their marital status and won’t confirm or deny any wedding rumors.

Zendaya recently discussed how being in a public relationship feels like it involves a strange connection with fans. During an April appearance on the Modern Love podcast from The New York Times, she explained that she and her partner are both public figures who have essentially grown up with an audience watching them. Because they’ve even played love interests in movies, she understands people feel invested in their relationship, and she doesn’t want to discourage that connection or seem like she’s asking for privacy.

Zendaya also shared that she’s a very private person and does her best to keep certain aspects of her life, including her relationship, just for herself and her partner.

Zendaya explained that she and Tom aren’t trying to keep their relationship a secret, but rather protect their happiness and keep it special between themselves, their families, and close friends.

The actress, known for her role in The Drama, acknowledged that people are curious about her relationship with Tom, but they’ve decided to keep those details private.

She explained that she considers both what she’s comfortable discussing and how much personal information she’s willing to reveal.
