Emmerdale finally confirms Graham Foster’s dark connection to Coronation Street’s Jodie Ramsey

A long-running mystery on Emmerdale was solved on Sunday, revealing the connection between Graham Foster and Jodie Ramsey from Coronation Street.

Graham and Jodie’s relationship started during a joint storyline with another show, where Jodie was initially held captive in Graham’s van.

After everything that happened, Jodie came back to Weatherfield and confided in her sister, Shona Platt, that she was escaping an abusive ex-boyfriend.

The situation escalated on Sunday night when, while everyone was searching for vet Rhona Goskirk, they discovered Graham lying unconscious and covered in blood at Kim Tate’s stables.

The first thing I did when I came to was check if those guys were really gone. Then, I practically pushed Rhona to leave, telling her I couldn’t go to the police or a hospital – I just couldn’t get involved with any of that.

Following continued questioning by Rhona, Graham admitted that he was attacked because he hadn’t been able to fulfill a gang’s request to eliminate Jodie.

Remember the issue I was brought in to resolve? I mentioned it when we first met – it involved someone named Jodie. My current situation is the consequence of letting her get away and then having my contract ended, as I explained.

Once Graham’s injuries were taken care of, he and Rhona shared a close moment. Rhona ultimately turned down his romantic advances, but not before her husband, Marlon Dingle, walked in on them. Upset, Marlon went home and cancelled the plans he and Rhona had made.

Will Graham seem to be avoiding consequences, and what role does Jodie play in this criminal group?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX.
