For months, people have been guessing about the details of the couple’s wedding. But a wedding planner for the event – scheduled for June 13th at the Ocean House resort in Watch Hill, Rhode Island – has now confirmed the plans, ending the speculation.

Event planner Tara Guerard, who works in South Carolina and New York, responded to rumors about Taylor Swift’s wedding on Instagram. In a post from April 5th, she clarified that she is not planning a wedding for Taylor this weekend, despite earlier speculation about a June 13th event at the Ocean House in Rhode Island. She jokingly expressed her disappointment with a ‘Boo!’.

As soon as Taylor and Travis announced their engagement back in August, everyone started buzzing about a possible wedding location – specifically, a beautiful luxury resort in Rhode Island. It makes sense, really, since Taylor already has a beloved home in that same area, so it’s a place she clearly loves and feels comfortable in!

Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce potentially getting married on June 13th, and a lot of outlets are reporting it’s happening at a certain venue. But honestly? Those closest to them, like Travis’ sister-in-law Kylie, are keeping tight-lipped. They’re not confirming anything publicly, and I think that’s smart – they’re keeping the focus on their happiness, not the hype. It’s a really personal moment, and they deserve their privacy!

Kylie recently asked people to stop pressuring her and her mother-in-law about wedding plans. Speaking on her show Not Gonna Lie, she explained that she and her husband, Jason Kelce, haven’t shared any details because they simply haven’t made any yet. While she acknowledges most people ask out of kindness, she wishes they would stop inquiring. ‘Nobody’s telling you anything,’ she said.

Taylor Swift has been intentionally vague about the date, playfully responding to Graham Norton in October with a simple, “You’ll find out soon,” when he directly asked.

At the time, the 36-year-old admitted she hadn’t even begun planning. 

I’m currently focused on finishing the album, which is a major project,” she said. “After that, I’m planning to focus on the wedding.

But Taylor doesn’t have to hide how excited she is to have—and plan—her own white veil occasion. 

She said planning would be enjoyable and jokingly mentioned she was inviting everyone she’d ever met.

It’s hard to imagine Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce having a wedding on just any day; it would likely be a date that’s significant to them, or at least to Taylor.

Her two-hour interview appeared just 13 days before she and Travis Kelce announced their engagement. However, Travis’s father mentioned they had already told close friends and family about their relationship three days prior to the podcast episode. Swift said she genuinely enjoys exploring these kinds of patterns and connections.

Travis’s plans after his current NFL contract ends in 2025 will influence when they set their wedding date. If he continues playing football, they’ll plan the wedding during the off-season, likely between February after the Super Bowl and the start of training camp in July.

If Travis retires after 13 seasons—which is hard to believe—he’ll be able to get married, potentially in October, Taylor’s favorite month. The exact timing will depend on whether Taylor announces a tour for her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, which was released on October 3rd, and when that tour might be.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close circle of celebrity friends, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

She admitted that people might assume she’d always dreamed of her wedding, but she actually never gave it much thought until she met the person she wanted to marry. She shared this on the U.K.’s Heart Breakfast radio show.

After the wedding ceremony, where she’ll wear a beautiful gown, the tall bride—she’s 5’10″—plans to change into a more comfortable dress so she can dance all night.

However, he probably wouldn’t want to make such a bold fashion statement and risk overshadowing his partner, who will be looking beautiful in her dress.

I’ll never forget when Taylor told Cosmopolitan back in 2012 that she definitely hadn’t planned her future husband’s wedding outfit! She explained it so beautifully – she just wanted him to feel like his presence truly mattered, and that she hadn’t already decided everything for him.

Taylor and Travis both deeply value family, so their parents and brothers are naturally key people in the wedding plans. Jason Kelce, likely to be Travis’s best man, has two young daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, who will probably be flower girls. Depending on the wedding date, his youngest daughter, Bennett, might also get to participate. Sadly, the baby, Finnley, will probably be too young to be involved.

It will be interesting to see which of Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammates are invited, but he was a groomsman at Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ wedding in 2022, so we know at least one teammate – and coach Andy Reid – will be there. Plus, he’s maintained a close group of friends from his high school days in Cleveland Heights, meaning his bachelor party is going to be a lot of fun.

Taylor’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson, has consistently been a close part of her life. Though her group of friends has changed over time, Selena Gomez remains a key part of her inner circle, often exchanging gifts like homemade sourdough bread. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still close too, despite recent rumors about a falling out related to the actress’ legal issues.

Okay, seriously, can we talk about flower girls? It’s HUGE that Taylor is already godmother to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ daughters! Like, that’s practically a trial run, right? It just screams she’s totally prepared and would be amazing if she took on that role for anyone else… I’m just saying!

It’s easy to imagine a friend or family member becoming ordained to perform the wedding ceremony, but we doubt it will be Flavor Flav.

On the September 17th episode of New Heights, Travis shared his preference for live music, saying, “I think we’re just live music kind of people, you know?”

Even if the bride doesn’t perform, she has plenty of talented friends who are great singers. We’re particularly hoping to see Haim take the stage!

But Taylor joked it “would be hard to keep” Ed Sheeran from performing at her wedding. 

She explained in an October 2025 interview with Hits Radio that Ed Sheeran is a natural performer. According to her, he’s driven to be on stage whenever the opportunity arises, because he understands and wants to fulfill what his audience desires.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.

If he continues to play sports, he might switch to a flexible wedding band, but for now, his fiancée’s ring – an Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond chosen by Travis from Artifex Fine Jewelry and designed by Kindred Lubeck – is the one he’s wearing.

The ring has a long, central diamond with smaller diamonds on either side. It’s crafted from yellow gold with a unique, custom engraving and perfectly complements the $27,300 Cartier watch he used when proposing.

Taylor Swift explained on The Graham Norton Show in October that she didn’t want the difficulty of deciding who to exclude from her guest list, because it would force her to carefully consider her relationships with people.

And, she added, “I’m not gonna do that.”

Comedian Nikki Glaser, a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift fan, believes a large wedding is on the way. She told TopMob News at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, “Everything has been building up to this moment.”

Okay, so this comedian made a really good point! Basically, Taylor’s used to being the center of attention constantly – she’s practically a bride every day with all the performances and everything. So, it makes total sense that her actual wedding is going to be super private. Like, she’s already got all the ‘getting admired’ part covered, so she doesn’t need a big showy wedding, you know? It’ll be as secret as she can possibly make it, and honestly, I respect that so much!

Nikki said she knows the person just wants to share the celebration with everyone they care about, as they have a large circle of friends and family. She jokingly predicted there will likely be some unwanted attention, possibly from photographers in a helicopter trying to get pictures.

As soon as the wedding is over and the couple drives away, Taylor will definitely begin sharing photos and videos from her wedding with her fans.
