We were really excited to try Morbid Metal, the first game from indie developer SCREEN JUICE. It lets you play as cyborg warriors and perform powerful attacks against anyone who challenges you.
Okay, so the launch trailer just dropped, and let me tell you, it looks awesome! We get a good look at Flux, Ekku, and Vekta, and their powers are seriously cool. It really shows off how fast-paced the combat is going to be, and I’m getting some hints about the story – it looks like there’s a really interesting world to explore, and I can’t wait to dive in and see what happens!
The game is available now on Steam with a 25% discount if you buy it before the end of the month. It features three distinct environments, two challenging bosses, and ten enemy types, plus lots of ways to improve your character and progress through the game.
I just checked out an interview with Felix Schade, the one-person team behind the game, and he talked a lot about how it’s being made! They’re planning to share the complete early access plan on April 17th during the Find Your Next Game event. Right now, the SCREEN JUICE team is collecting feedback from players like us to make sure the roadmap focuses on what we really want to see in the game.
