A James Bond game like 007 First Light wouldn’t be complete without emphasizing style while you’re sneaking around, would it?
Sony is releasing a special, gold-colored version of its DualSense controller. It’s clearly inspired by the James Bond film Goldfinger, featuring the movie’s logo on the touchpad. We can’t wait to see it in person – it looks fantastic, and we hope it avoids the stick drift issues some controllers have.
This feels like something James Bond would personally use during his initial scenes with MI6, if he were to directly address the audience. He’d certainly value accuracy and having the right tools, especially in a game designed to fully immerse players in the role of 007.
You can pre-order the controller starting April 16th, and it will be available when the game launches on May 27th. However, if you’re waiting for the Nintendo Switch 2, you’ll have to wait a bit longer to play with it. Check out the awesome trailer below!
