Snack World, a dungeon-crawling roguelike game originally released for 3DS and Switch, is coming to PlayStation 5. Level-5, the well-known development studio behind the game, hasn’t announced when it will be available.
This game, created by the Fukuoka-based company, originally launched on the 3DS in 2017. It was then released internationally on the Switch in 2020, adding to the company’s growing collection of multimedia franchises.
Similar to games like Inazuma Eleven, Fantasy Life, and Professor Layton, this series is now available on PlayStation 5 after previously being exclusive to Nintendo consoles.
This charming dungeon crawler combines roguelike gameplay with a unique, diorama-inspired art style. If you enjoyed the visuals of the recent Dragon Quest 7 remake, you’ll likely appreciate this game’s look and feel.
The official website reveals:
The game now features stunning graphics that make the world feel like a detailed, miniature scene. Gameplay and controls have been improved, and a new mode is coming soon where you can play as Chup, the main character from the anime.
Currently, a release date for the game hasn’t been announced, but it’s being developed for the PlayStation 5, meaning it will be available to play sometime in the future.
