Teddi Mellencamp Reveals She’s Dating an Older Man Amid Cancer Battle

Teddi Mellencamp has a new man in her life.

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently shared that she’s begun dating someone older while continuing to battle stage 4 cancer.

On the April 8th episode of her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge, Teddi playfully revealed they’re naming their baby Derek, and then mentioned he’s older than she is.

The 44-year-old, who shares three children – Slate (12), Cruz (11), and Dove (6) – with her ex, Edwin Arroyave, is dating someone new. She didn’t say who he is, but mentioned that his college-aged children still live with him, which adds a bit of complexity to their relationship.

Dating as a parent is tricky,” Teddi explained. “It’s hard to move things forward when we both have kids at home. It feels like we’re stuck at the very beginning.

However, she pointed out that it’s still too soon to discuss the specifics of their personal lives.

I’ve been holding back on sharing certain things with him on our dates, because I’m trying to take things slowly. Honestly, that’s not usually how I’ve approached relationships in the past, but I feel like it’s the right approach this time.

I’ve been following Teddi’s health journey closely since she received her diagnosis over a year ago – the tumors in her brain and lungs were devastating news. I’m really curious about how the person in question responded to everything she’s been going through. It’s been so tough on her, and I want to know how he handled it.

She admitted he handles things well, describing him as generally positive and reasonable.

“But the thing that I like the most about him,” she continued, “is he makes me laugh.”

After a recent date night at Craig’s in West Hollywood and drinks afterward, Teddi shared that she might have overdone it, as she’s currently undergoing immunotherapy treatments.

She remembered telling her date she felt surprisingly energetic at the time, but then admitted she woke up feeling awful the next morning.

Teddi is still dating and exploring her options, and thankfully, she’s also continuing to get better health-wise.

In October, John Mellencamp’s daughter announced positive news after brain surgery and treatment for cancer. Doctors had initially given her a 50/50 chance of survival, but scans showed no detectable cancer.

I was so excited to hear about Teddi’s date night at Craig’s and then drinks at a cool speakeasy! But honestly, I was a little worried when I learned she might have overdone it. She’s still going through immunotherapy, and I really hope she’s taking it easy and prioritizing her health. It’s great she’s living her life, but recovery is key, you know?

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to share positive news! Recently, John Mellencamp’s daughter received incredible news after a tough battle.
