Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar are getting their finances in order.

Before being released from jail on March 31st after posting a $600,000 bond – following allegations of molestation that he denies – Jim Bob Duggar and his wife talked about how his younger brother, Jed Duggar, could help them manage their financial debts.

In a phone call from the Washington County Detention Facility on March 25th, Joseph suggested to Kendra that they ask Jed for help selling the remaining unsold truck. He also mentioned they have several trailers and should keep the one with his tools, selling off the others, according to a recording obtained by TopMob News.

Kendra, facing charges of endangering a child and unlawful imprisonment alongside Joseph in Arkansas, detailed their current expenses. These included a $3,200 bill for construction work and a $600 bill for a structural engineer, both for repairs to their home in Arkansas.

Okay, so things are still pretty tense with my legal situation, but I’ve learned that Jed has started going through our belongings and figuring out what to sell. It’s… a lot, honestly, but I’m trying to stay focused on what I can control.

He already has it at the dealership and was considering selling your trailer along with some other items,” the 27-year-old said. “We can discuss selling some of those other things, plus any trucks we have as well.”

Joseph, who denied the charges of sexual activity with a minor after being brought to Florida to face them, had originally intended to use a trailer for tool storage, but Kendra suggested another option.

She suggested I could store the tools in the office garage and secure them. She also thought selling them might give me a little extra spending money, which honestly isn’t a bad idea.

However, the 31-year-old wasn’t too keen on giving up his trailer just yet.

I’ve got a lot of tools inside, and I’m willing to sell it, but everything won’t fit in that small tool shed. I do want to sell our other trailers, though – all of them for the time being, that is.

Joseph suggested they sell more than just the trucks and trailers – he also mentioned listing their four-wheeler.

He explained that the four-wheeler was making a loud knocking sound, likely due to a problem with the transmission. He also mentioned he owns other equipment like a wood splitter and a pressure washer.

Joseph will appear in a Florida court on April 20th, and both he and Kendra are due in an Arkansas court on April 29th.
