Fans are waiting a long time for Season 3 of Solo Leveling, as the animation studio hasn’t announced any updates about its release. Adding to the wait, the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webcomic is also on hold because the artist is serving in the military for approximately 18 to 21 months. Currently, Solo Leveling: Arise is the only new content available for fans. The official website features short stories called Hunter Origin, which explore characters from both the original series and Arise. Fans can also enjoy the free-to-play mobile game developed by Netmarble, available on Android, iOS, and PC. The game uses a ‘gacha’ system where players obtain characters and items using Tickets.
The game features both familiar and new characters within the world of the original story, all working together to face emerging dangers after the arrival of strange gates. The newest installment, a standalone story, focuses on Elena Renault, a hunter and original character introduced in Arise, who is part of the Justicia Guild.
Who Is Elena Renault in Solo Leveling: Arise?

Elena first appeared in the original ‘Hunter Origin’ story, which centered around the S-Rank Hunter Alicia Blanche and the hardships she faced. Their romantic connection was well-known, but a recent one-shot story delved deeper into their relationship, focusing on Elena’s perspective. It revealed that Elena became a Hunter at the D-Rank and developed a strong attachment to Alicia before joining her Guild.
Elena and Alicia were classmates, but Elena became fixated on Alicia due to their differing abilities. Even after joining the guild, Elena struggled with her weakness, particularly when she saw how effectively Alicia worked with Sung Jinwoo. Everything changed when Elena’s ambition for power triggered a second awakening, making her an A-Rank Hunter. With her newfound strength, Elena felt capable of finally standing alongside Alicia, and at the story’s end, she vows to never let Alicia out of her sight.
Solo Leveling‘s Anime Has Yet to Adapt Some of the Best Arcs

Season two concluded with the popular Jeju Island story arc, which was hinted at from the start of the anime. After Jinwoo successfully completes the incredibly difficult S-Rank dungeon alone, everyone around the world learns who he is. The story is set to become even more gripping, as the series still needs to explain the many mysteries surrounding the world. These include questions about why the gates appeared, the source of Jinwoo’s powers, and the identity of the Monarch of Shadows.
There’s still no news about whether the anime will continue, but talk of a movie has been going around for about a year. We don’t know if the studio will create more seasons or make a movie to finish the story, as there hasn’t been an official announcement.
