The latest game added to Xbox Game Pass has received a good score of 82 on Metacritic, but players love it even more. Called Tiny Bookshop, developed by Neoludic Games and published by Skystone Games and 2P Games, it boasts a 96% positive rating on Steam based on over 4,296 user reviews – one of the highest audience scores for any game on Xbox Game Pass. It’s yet to be seen if it will be equally popular with Xbox players, as the Microsoft Store doesn’t allow reviews for new games.

As the trailer shows, Tiny Bookshop is a charming and artistic game where you manage a small bookstore. It’s the first game from Neoludic Games! You’ll start a new life by opening a used bookstore by the sea. Your goal is to fill your shelves with books, set up shop in beautiful spots around town, and get to know your customers.
Although the game costs $20, it’s surprisingly lengthy. Even just to finish the main story, Xbox Game Pass subscribers should expect to spend around 15 hours, and closer to 20 if they explore optional content. Players who aim to complete everything will likely need around 30 hours. Good news for Game Pass members: you can buy the game with a 20% discount, saving $4! However, it’s unclear how long Tiny Bookshop will remain on the Game Pass service. Games are usually available for 6, 12, or 24 months, with 12-month periods being the most common.
