As a big fan, I’m so excited to see M.A.S.K. back! The Loyal Subjects are releasing a new toy series, and there’s a comic coming that will tie M.A.S.K. into the Energon Universe. Now, details for the second wave of toys are out, and honestly, it looks amazing! It’s going to add four more vehicles and characters, and it seems like it’s going to be even better than the first wave.
The Loyal Subjects has given fans a sneak peek at the second wave of their M.A.S.K. collection. This wave will feature the Hurricane, Gator, Submarine Cycle, and Armored Assault Vehicle. They’re building on the popularity of the first release with a few improvements. For example, the Hurricane will have the classic green and silver color scheme with vibrant orange flames, and it can transform from vehicle mode into a Field Command Post.

M.A.S.K. Wave 2 Looks To Surpass Wave 1 In Every Way

The Hurricane set features a new Hondo Maclean figure that comes with two masks. Hondo can also now hold a cannon in his arm. The vehicle itself has been updated with nice details like clear headlights, four powerful blast effects, a customizable hood and tire logo, detailed tank features when in Mobile Sentry Mode, extra rivets and detailing underneath, and a bonus weapon inspired by the rare Sea Attack set.

Next up is Gator, a transforming toy that changes from a tough Jeep vehicle into a Hydroplane Attack Mode. It comes with a new Dusty Hayes action figure that includes two masks. The vehicle itself has been updated with a clear windshield and bigger wheels and tires than the previous version.
The new Gator features an improved, rotating rooftop cannon, and now includes two special effects: the Electric Ouch blast and the Freeze Gun. These effects can even be combined for a more impressive visual. Plus, a detachable, electro-plated boat engine has been added – it looks great on the new model and is also compatible with older Gator versions.

Next, we have the Armored Assault Vehicle, which transforms between a standard vehicle form and an action-ready Assault Vehicle Mode. It comes with a new Cliff Dagger figure, including two different masks. The vehicle has been updated with sculpted details instead of a hood decal, and features clear, removable headlights and extra molded details throughout.
The toy now features some great new details! You’ll find five different blast effects for the rooftop gun and laser cannon, including laser and heavy anti-aircraft blasts, plus a mini-gun effect. It also has extra footpegs so you can add more figures to the action. Best of all, the Dagger figure can now actually hold the rooftop weapon, making playtime even more exciting.

Finally, there’s the Stealth Submarine Cycle, which transforms between Motorcycle and Submarine modes. It comes with a new Sly Rax figure and two masks, and now Rax can grip the handlebars. A really neat feature is the Stiletto blast effects that you can attach to the masks for extra action!
I’m so excited about the new Stealth Submarine Cycle! They’ve really outdone themselves with the details – the engine looks amazing, and the paint job on the motorcycle cowl is a huge improvement. But the best part? They added a cool smoke effect to the rear wheel and these awesome torpedo blast effects for the sub’s cannons. It looks incredible!

Okay, so the latest preview was short and sweet, but super cool! They showed off a special edition of the Thunderhawk called the Hologram Edition. Apparently, it’s going to glow in the dark with a holographic effect, and even comes with a holographic Matt Trakker figure! I can’t wait!
