Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is deeply disturbed after discovering what really happened to Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) in Coronation Street.
Billy tragically died in a January episode that crossed over between Corriedale and Emmerdale. He was driving a minibus home from Debbie Webster’s wedding when he was involved in a crash. After the crash, his abuser, Theo Silverton, intentionally prevented Billy from escaping and caused the vehicle to catch fire. Billy was the only person who knew about Theo’s abuse of Todd, and the situation has become even more complicated since then. Theo briefly felt remorse and even confessed his regrets at Billy’s funeral, unaware that Carl Webster was secretly listening nearby.
Carl had already agreed to let Debbie face charges for causing a death while driving dangerously, leaving their neighbors divided on who to believe. Billy’s daughter, Summer Spellman, who was deeply upset by the situation, strongly blamed Debbie and repeatedly expressed her anger.

Soon after Debbie was released following a court appearance, Summer ran into Carl on the street. He admitted he was the driver, not his mother, but hinted that Summer should suspect someone else when it came to Billy’s death.
With alarm bells ringing, she decided to confront Theo in today’s episode.

She rushed to Theo’s apartment and asked what happened with Billy. Theo was clearly upset and quickly changed the subject, admitting he and Todd were planning to leave Weatherfield and move to Belfast tomorrow.
Summer eventually managed to speak with Todd privately and told him she believed Theo was responsible for Billy’s death. Todd was shocked, but before he could reply, Theo told him to go home.

A cold tension filled the air, especially when Todd announced he wouldn’t be going to Belfast. He explained that Summer needed him nearby, and he planned to join him later on.
Theo didn’t like what he was seeing. As Todd went to unpack in the bedroom, Theo immediately locked the door and grabbed his phone.
A terrified Todd smashed on the door, asking to be allowed out.
Will he ever be able to escape Theo?
