Deep Silver and 4A Games will reveal Metro 2039 during a special Xbox showcase on April 16th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time / 1:00 PM Eastern Time. The announcement will be streamed on YouTube.
The upcoming game will be the fourth major installment in the Metro series, created by 4A Games and inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky’s novels. It continues the story of those who survived a nuclear disaster, living in the tunnels of the Moscow subway and the dangerous world above, following the events of Metro 2033 (2010), Metro: Last Light (2013), and Metro Exodus (2019), according to a post on Xbox Wire.
