FuturLab, the creators of PowerWash Simulator, has announced that certain downloadable content (DLC) packs for the first game will be removed soon.
The initial game, released by Square Enix, included free downloadable content featuring characters from Final Fantasy and Tomb Raider. This content will no longer be available after May 19th, 2026.
You can still get these items from the PlayStation Store for now, but they won’t be available to claim after that.
Once you have them downloaded, you can play them without worry.
FuturLab has announced that players who already own the Tomb Raider and Midgar Special Packs can continue enjoying them. If you haven’t downloaded these packs yet, now’s your last opportunity to get them and experience locations like Seventh Heaven and Croft Manor.
FuturLab announced this timing also marks the end of their partnership with Square Enix, whom they thank for their support in publishing PowerWash Simulator on PC and consoles.
We’ve really enjoyed working on these popular game franchises and feel fortunate to have supported them for as long as we have.
PowerWash Simulator was a big hit for the developers, and they continued to add content for a long time through downloadable packs. These packs included both new, original levels and levels based on popular franchises.
I’m so excited! It looks like PowerWash Simulator 2 is keeping up the awesome DLC trend, and this week they’re releasing their very first premium one – it’s based on Adventure Time! As a big fan of both games, I can’t wait to clean up the Land of Ooo!
Enjoy playing PowerWash Simulator? Don’t miss out on the downloadable content from Square Enix! Check the comments below to get yours before they’re gone.
