In the forthcoming Street Fighter film, multiple professional wrestlers are set to embody iconic characters from Capcom, and if you’re excited about seeing even more WWE personalities take on these roles, Mattel is ready with options for you.
This week at the San Diego Comic-Con, four new action figures were unveiled featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as M. Bison and the Ultimate Warrior portrayed as Blanka.
Here’s the full lineup, as reported by SEScoops:
- Ultimate Warrior as Blanka
- The wild wrestler’s explosive energy matches the Brazilian fighter’s electrical attacks and untamed fighting style.
- The Rock as M. Bison
- Dubbed ‘The Final Boss’, this pairing emphasises The Rock’s dominant WWE presence with Street Fighter’s ultimate villain.
- Rey Mysterio as Ryu
- The lucha libre master channels the disciplined martial artist, celebrating technical precision and fighting philosophy.
- John Cena as Guile
- Two all-American heroes unite, representing military bearing and unwavering determination.
In the information given earlier, it’s clear that Roman Reigns is set to portray the character Akuma, while Cody Rhodes has agreed to take on the role of Guile in the upcoming movie.
Information about the launch date for these fresh action figures is yet to be announced, but we’re really taken with the packaging design reminiscent of arcade cabinets, and the figures seem to have good quality. What stands out most to us is the depiction of the Ultimate Warrior as Blanka – it’s a combination we really appreciate.
