Kaitlyn Bristowe Sets the Record Straight on Jessi Draper Feud Rumors

Kaitlyn Bristowe has no secrets to hide when it comes to her feelings about Jessi Draper.

After rumors surfaced about a disagreement between Kaitlyn and a star from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Kaitlyn clarified the situation and explained what actually happened.

In an Instagram video posted on April 21st, Kaitlyn expressed her disbelief at recent negativity. She explained that she had shared a photo and commented on how strange it was that anyone could dislike her, especially since she was simply enjoying time with her family, which always makes her happy.

She explained that someone had been bothering her online. A commenter told her that people who are truly happy don’t need to announce it, and she responded by saying it wasn’t a big deal.

The 40-year-old explained that Jessi left a kind comment on the post, but then the whole thing vanished—and that’s when people started wondering if they were fighting.

Kaitlyn explained that her post had been deleted, so she shared it again. She added a message directed at someone who frequently makes subtly hostile comments, inviting them to repeat their previous remark. She clarified she was responding to a single online troll, as a screenshot of her comment appeared on screen.

“Then I just tagged [Jessi],” she continued, “because I wanted her to know that I saw her comment.”

Soon after Kaitlyn first mentioned the troll, a fan suggested she tag the person in question. Because Kaitlyn had already tagged Jessi without explaining who she was referring to, many fans thought she was accusing Jessi of being the troll who had been bothering her.

Kaitlyn explained that a misunderstanding led people to believe she was upset with this other person. She was surprised by how quickly things escalated and were misinterpreted.

To show there weren’t any hard feelings, Kaitlyn shared screenshots of her private messages with the TikTok mom, proving they’d talked things out and even joked about the misunderstanding.

In a recent video, Kaitlyn expressed frustration with online behavior, saying people seem overly aggressive and eager to see women in conflict. She questioned why anyone would choose a side when they don’t have all the facts.

And in the caption of her post, the Dancing With the Stars alum doubled down on her message.

She said she wasn’t going to dwell on the situation, explaining it wasn’t a big deal. She ended the message with ‘Love you, Jessi’.

Jessi, 33, quickly clarified that she and the other person were still good friends, adding a playful, “I love you!”

Jessi and Kaitlyn are on good terms, but many other celebrities have had public disagreements. Here are some of the most famous Hollywood feuds…

In January 2024, Bobby addressed speculation about a disagreement with Tan, following his announcement in November 2023 that he was leaving Queer Eye after eight seasons. (Bobby is shown second from the left in the picture.)

He told Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay. He acknowledged there was a personal issue between them, but emphasized it was separate from the show and wasn’t a romantic matter – it had been building for a while, but it was strictly personal.

In March 2024, Tan addressed claims that he tried to get his friend Jeremiah Brent to replace Bobby on the show Queer Eye.

Netflix and the production team held extensive auditions. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately landed it because they were the most qualified. I also want to clarify that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained on Instagram.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that actor Danny Masterson was the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a “rude, rude, rude, rude little boy” and a “dastardly little thing.”

He did not respond to her remarks publicly.

You know, I remember when Ashton Kutcher was on The Talk back in 2014. I was chatting with Larry King a few years later, and I mentioned that Ashton seemed a little put out when I accidentally mispronounced his name during the show. It just had a bit of an ‘attitude’ to it, if I’m being honest!

She remembered him asking, ‘Who are you and what have you accomplished in this field?’ She said she responded by telling him, ‘Don’t mess with me, because I’ll completely destroy you.’ She added, ‘You have no idea who you’re talking to, young man.’

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris publicly disagreed with Brittany Aldean, wife of country singer Jason Aldean. This followed a post Brittany shared on Instagram on August 23rd, where she thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d ever met, explaining that Bure once turned down her request for a photo on the red carpet. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, saying she regretted hurting Siwa’s feelings when she was younger and acknowledging that she should have taken the picture. She said, “I feel crummy, JoJo, I’m so sorry.”

Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she said it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.

JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful to an entire community.”

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art for her band Hole in a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a supportive message, saying, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what I just read! Apparently, on Watch What Happens Live, they asked Ron Howard why he and Tom Hanks didn’t exactly click while filming Turner & Hooch back in ’89. I mean, Ron Howard and Tom Hanks not getting along?! It’s shocking! I need to know everything about what happened on set!

I directed the film for thirteen days, and then Jeff Katzenberg, the producer, called me into his office and told me to pack up and go home, saying I had everything I needed.

Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.

He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”

Those who watched The Hills likely remember a famous line from Lauren during the third season’s premiere. The drama between her and Heidi started when Heidi began dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, alleging she had made a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting with an Instagram post where Tyrese criticized Dwayne after the release of Fast & Furious 9 was delayed until April 2020. On the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was announced for 2019. Shortly after, Tyrese said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne remained involved.

Tyrese recently discussed the conflict with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, telling Van Lathan on The Red Pill podcast that they still haven’t spoken directly, though he hopes to. He mentioned he did talk to one of Johnson’s producing partners, but not Johnson himself.

Tyrese admitted he often ended up speaking for others connected to the film series, but he regretted being the only one to share those thoughts publicly, taking full responsibility for the mistake. He said it was unprofessional and inappropriate.

No more bad blood here.

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to have even sparked Taylor’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which began with issues over a dancer and competition between their concert tours, ended when Katy sent Taylor an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Taylor’s Reputation Tour began.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just walked back to my dressing room and there was, like, a real olive branch there! Seriously, it meant the world to me. I was so shocked and happy, it was just… everything!

Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, successfully avoided rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and subsequently made some pointed comments about her co-star.

In a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been colleagues, not friends.

She said she was simply devastated. They had talked about it all week, and she was deeply upset because her memory of what happened was completely different.

It just breaks my heart to see everything happening, but honestly, what really matters is what we all went through together. It wasn’t just a job, you know? It was years of our lives, and it became something deeply personal. I’m desperately hoping that those years, that incredible, special thing we created and shared with everyone, will overshadow all the drama now. It was such a gift, being a part of something so many people connected with – a real privilege, honestly.

And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award at the Q Awards that year, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously said, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous! Since when is pretending to sing live considered a real performance?” He went on to suggest that performers who lip-sync during paid concerts should face serious consequences.

The actress, formerly known for her role on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to be removed from Emmy Award consideration. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.

Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone shows you their true colors, you should believe it,” Shonda explained. “That’s a lesson I’ve really taken to heart, and it’s helped me a lot.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major headline. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what caused the argument with Nicki.

Cardi B recently told W magazine that someone has been consistently criticizing her. She explained that they had talked twice and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.

The conflict truly escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had seemingly liked, and then quickly unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s skills as a mother – something Nicki claims she didn’t do.

Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially hugely profitable Bruno Mars tour so she could be with her daughter, and she doesn’t regret it. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and considers herself a great mom, adding that people without children shouldn’t criticize her choices. She also pointed out that opportunities to meet artists aren’t common, and she wasn’t going to pass up the chance at a party.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They eventually reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 after Kanye released his song “Famous,” which included a reference to Taylor.

Just before the Grammy Awards in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for the action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”

The rumored rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez began with a 2003 television interview in Germany. When asked about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah responded simply, “I don’t know her.”
