Elmo is rocking to a new beat this Earth Day.
For years, Elmo from Sesame Street had a rocky relationship with his best friend Zoe’s pet rock, appropriately named Rocco. But recently, Elmo showed a moment of kindness, sending Rocco a friendly message while celebrating Earth Day with Gordon Cormier, the star of Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
In a YouTube video posted on Earth Day, April 22nd, Gordon encouraged viewers to act like ‘Avatars’ by showing appreciation and kindness to all living things and the planet itself.
Elmo also emphasized being kind to everything around you – like the wind, flowers, plants, animals, and even insects – and importantly, to yourself.
Gordon nearly went too far when he introduced Rocco, pointing out that being kind to everything on Earth would even extend to rocks.
“Gordon, can Elmo borrow Rocco,” Elmo quipped. “Elmo would like to be the Last Pebble Skipper.”
Elmo initially disliked Rocco the rock, but after Gordon explained how rocks are essential for things like mountains, riverbeds, and roads, Elmo reluctantly admitted Rocco had value and wished him a “Happy Earth Day.”
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve always been fascinated by long-running dynamics, and Elmo and Rocco’s playful ‘beef’ is a perfect example! It’s been a charming part of Sesame Street for over 20 years, but it really captured everyone’s attention in 2022 when an old clip from way back in 2004 started circulating online. It’s amazing how something so simple can become a beloved cultural moment!

In the video, the young boy, who often acts like a toddler, was upset to learn he couldn’t have an oatmeal raisin cookie because his sister, Zoe, was saving it for their brother, Rocco.
Elmo was really frustrated. “How will Rocco even eat that cookie, Zoe?” he asked. “Rocco doesn’t have a mouth! He’s just a rock – he isn’t even alive!”
Even Taylor Swift became part of the drama between Elmo and Rocco! Her music video for the song “Opalite,” released in February, featured a girl whose closest friend is a rock.
“Ms. Taylor Swift,” Elmo wrote on X at the time. “You have got to be kidding Elmo.”

Even though Elmo is still working through things with Rocco, he’s managed to stay friends with Zoe.
I was so relieved to see Elmo tweet in 2022 that everything was okay with him and Zoe! They had been practicing sharing, and he made it clear they’re still the very best of friends. He even added a sweet ‘Elmo loves you Zoe!’ with his signature giggle. It just warmed my heart!
Elmo said he doesn’t want to discuss Rocco. He then asked online, “Has anyone ever seen a rock eat a cookie? Elmo is simply wondering.”

As a longtime fan, I was really worried when I heard about possible tension between Bobby and Tan. It all started back in January 2024, not long after Bobby announced he was leaving Queer Eye after eight amazing seasons – it was definitely a shock to us all!
He told Vanity Fair that he and Tan are doing okay despite a personal issue. He emphasized that the situation was between the two of them, unrelated to their work on the show, and wasn’t a romantic matter.
I was really surprised to see the claims that Tan tried to get Jeremiah Brent on Queer Eye instead of Bobby! It came up in March 2024, and honestly, it seemed so out of character for him. He finally addressed the allegations then, which was a relief.
Netflix and the production companies held a thorough casting process. I didn’t recommend my friend for the role, but they ultimately got it because they were the most qualified. I also want to be clear that I didn’t help them get the part by having anyone else removed from consideration, as he explained on Instagram.

During a September 2023 game of “Stir the Pot” with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne, on TopMob News, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she considered Danny Masterson, known from “That ’70s Show,” to be the rudest celebrity she’d ever encountered. She described him as a very rude and unpleasant person.
He did not respond to her remarks publicly.
Five years ago, Sharon shared with Larry King that Ashton seemed annoyed during his 2014 appearance on The Talk after she mispronounced his name.
She remembered him asking, “Who are you and what have you accomplished in this business?” She responded sharply, telling him, “Don’t underestimate me, because I’ll completely overwhelm you.” She finished by saying, “You have no idea who you’re talking to.”

In August 2022, Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris clashed with Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean, after Brittany posted a video on Instagram. In the video, posted on August 23rd, Brittany thanked her parents for not allowing her to transition genders during a phase where she preferred traditionally masculine interests, stating she enjoyed her current feminine lifestyle.

In a 2022 TikTok trend, JoJo Siwa called Candace Cameron Bure the “rudest” celebrity she’d met, explaining that Bure once declined to pose for a photo with her at a red carpet event, which Siwa felt was a rejection. Soon after, Cameron Bure apologized, saying she regretted upsetting Siwa when she was younger and admitting, “I feel crummy, JoJo, I’m so sorry.”
Candace and the other person resolved their differences. However, when asked months later if her network, Great American Family, would ever feature same-sex couples as the main characters in its holiday movies, she stated it wouldn’t, explaining that the network would continue to focus on traditional marriage.
JoJo, who publicly shared they are part of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, responded to the actress’ comment on Instagram, calling it “rude and hurtful” to many people.

In June 2021, Courtney Love claimed that Olivia Rodrigo had copied the album cover art of her band, Hole, for a promotional photo without proper credit. Olivia responded with a simple, “Love u and live through this sooooo much.” Courtney then playfully replied, “Olivia – you’re welcome! My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! DM me for details! I look forward to reading your note [winking face emoji].”

While on Watch What Happens Live, the Happy Days actor explained the reason he and the Forrest Gump star didn’t get along while filming their 1989 movie, Turner & Hooch.
I remember when I was directing that movie – it was going great for about thirteen days. Then, suddenly, I got called into Jeff Katzenberg’s office, and he basically told me to pack up and go home. It was so abrupt!
Winkler and Hanks’ dog seemed to get along very well. “I really loved that dog,” Winkler said.
He also refused to admit if he’s even seen the flick.

“You know what you did!”
Those who watched The Hills likely remember a famous line from Lauren during the third season’s premiere. The drama between her and Heidi started when Heidi began dating Spencer Pratt. It escalated when Lauren claimed Heidi and Spencer spread a false rumor about her and her then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, alleging she had made a sex tape.

Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson had a public falling out in 2017, starting when Tyrese criticized Dwayne on Instagram. This happened after the release date for Fast & Furious 9 was moved to April 2020. Interestingly, on the same day, a spin-off movie featuring Dwayne and Jason Statham was announced, set to release in 2019. The next month, Tyrese even said he would leave Fast 9 if Dwayne remained part of the cast.
Okay, so Tyrese finally talked about everything with The Rock, and honestly, it’s heartbreaking. He was on Van Lathan’s podcast, The Red Pill, and he said – and I quote – he still hasn’t spoken directly to Dwayne! Can you believe it? He did talk to someone who works with The Rock on production stuff, but not The Rock himself. It just…it kills me that they haven’t even had a conversation. He says they will talk eventually, but it’s just…ugh. I’m so invested in this, and it’s just so sad!
Tyrese admitted he shouldn’t have publicly shared frustrations on behalf of others connected to the franchise. ‘I was the only one who spoke out, and that was my mistake,’ he said. ‘It wasn’t professional or a good look.’

No more bad blood here.
Taylor Swift and Katy Perry had a long-running public disagreement, rumored to be the inspiration behind Swift’s song “Bad Blood.” The conflict, which supposedly began due to a dispute over a dancer and competition during their concert tours, ended when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch as a peace offering before Swift’s Reputation Tour began.
Taylor shared on Instagram that she found a real olive branch in her dressing room and said it meant a lot to her.
Taylor captioned the video, “Thank you Katy.”

For years, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, stars of Sex and the City, dismissed rumors of a disagreement. However, those rumors resurfaced when Kim chose not to participate in a third movie and subsequently made some pointed remarks about her co-star.
During a September 2017 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Sarah Jessica Parker how she felt about Kim Cattrall telling Piers Morgan they had only ever been colleagues, not friends.
She said she was just devastated, explaining that they had talked about it all week. She was really upset because her memory of what happened was completely different.
It’s upsetting, but I believe what truly connects us is the shared experience we had. It started as a professional collaboration, but over the years, it became something deeply personal. I’m hoping that the impact of those years, and the special connection we all felt, will outweigh any recent disagreements. It was a privilege to be a part of something so meaningful for so long.
And though they didn’t film scenes together, Kim did make a small appearance on And Just Like That.

Elton John and Madonna have been publicly disagreeing since 2004. The conflict began when Elton, while accepting an award, criticized Madonna’s live performances. He famously told the audience, “Madonna, best live act? That’s ridiculous!” and questioned her use of lip-syncing, suggesting performers who don’t sing live shouldn’t be allowed to charge high ticket prices.

The actress, formerly on Grey’s Anatomy, caused a disagreement with the show’s creator back in 2008 when she asked to not be considered for an Emmy Award. She explained that she didn’t think the storylines she was given were strong enough to deserve a nomination.
Shonda Rhimes discussed Katherine Heigl’s departure in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey on Oprah’s Next Chapter. She admitted it was both hurtful and expected. “When someone consistently demonstrates their true character, you should believe them,” Shonda explained. “I’ve really taken that to heart and it’s helped me a lot over the years.”

The fight between Nicki and Cardi at the Harper’s Bazaar Icon party during New York Fashion Week became a major news story. A month later, Cardi publicly explained what caused the argument with Nicki.
Cardi B recently told W magazine that another person has been repeatedly criticizing her. They had talked twice before and seemed to resolve things, but the criticism continued.
The conflict really escalated when Cardi B noticed Nicki Minaj had supposedly liked, and then quickly unliked, a tweet criticizing Cardi’s skills as a mother – something Nicki claims she didn’t do.
Cardi B explained she turned down a potentially very profitable Bruno Mars tour because she wanted to be with her daughter. She emphasized how much she loves her daughter and considers herself a great mom. She responded to criticism about where she met another artist, saying opportunities like that don’t come around often, and she wouldn’t expect to run into someone famous in everyday places like a grocery store.

The conflict between Kanye West and Taylor Swift began in 2009 when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. They later reconciled and became friends, but their relationship fell apart in 2016 following the release of Kanye’s song “Famous,” which mentioned Taylor by name.
Just before the Grammys in February 2025, Kanye West began following only Taylor Swift on Instagram. He didn’t offer any explanation for this action, and Swift didn’t publicly acknowledge it.

“I don’t know her.”
The rumored rivalry between Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez began with a 2003 television interview in Germany. When asked about Jennifer Lopez, Mariah responded simply, “I don’t know her.”
